geek update needed in sims 4

Also I want sims to care about and like and dislike comic books.
I liked that they had comics in sims 3 but the sims didn't care about them.
I want sims in sims 4 to be happy when they get a new comic. I want them to have an aspiration about collecting comics.
I want them to have a bored game night and comic con.I want them to be able to run a comic shop and go to one.
And they should also be able to find comics around the world like other collectables.

I think it would be nice if sims reacted to the books they read. I loved that in TS2 the newspaper had an option to read the daily comic and do a cross words puzzle. I thought that was cute. Would be nice if sims remembered the books they read and got options to discuss plot or character like they do with the movies.

A vr head set seems like something they should have for sure. I mean sims 3 had them and way more people have them

Just another thought, but they could have Sims in this world have super powers that you can choose before starting each "game". Or maybe the VR Sims get transformed into their void critters while they're there.

How about a D&D equivalent for geeky sims to play, and matching costumes for Geekcon.

I’d say yes to more active geek stuff like this and also Super Hero & Villain - gameplay. Burglars could make a return in a base game patch when that happens. Villains should be able to make minions out of some of them. Ah can you imagine Minion Burglars all over the place!

I’d love to see something like a Game Workshop hangout where sims could meet up, play, design and sell board games or enter tournaments.
A model making skill would be nice too. This is something our sim dudes would definitely appreciate doing on a rainy afternoon while the ladies work on their flower arranging skill. Don’t get me wrong I’m not being smart. I personally know ladies who love modeling and dudes who are into flower arranging.

I’d like a more meaningful comic book and action figure collection feature as well, absolutely. I can imagine a social interaction saying: “show off action figure collection” and a sim can get either excited about being shown another sim’s collection, or extremely bored. A what seemed like a promising date gone lousy, I suppose?

Re: VR set - Is the gaming rig not the next step up from that? Rather than a sim having to wear a head set, don’t these rigs already visualize immersive, active gameplay? It almost functions like a mini holo deck. They are a wee bit on the large side of course, so maybe they could offer smaller rigs? One for toddlers too? Or much larger rigs, like proper holo decks. If a sim spends too much time on the holo rig, their spouse can file for a divorce. ?

well with vr you could do some text adventurers with the sims that you wouldn't be able to do in game.
And they could play with a friend the gaming rig is a very solo thing. @CAPTAIN_NXR7

Also modeling is a great idea. And I would really like sims to be able to show off there action figure collection.

I wouldn't mind something like comics/ manga and comic book artist/ mangaka style freelance career and maybe like some related decor stuff

i like idea of making shut in sim that just lives off creating comic books in their room and sometimes visits geeky venues like arcades and comic book stores

itd be fun concept for smaller pack or update

and we could also add some arcade machines and venue to go with it

oh and more board games kinda stuff though i do feel it doesn't exactly align with my loner agenda

oh and yeah i think we could also add sketchbooks

i know sketch pad is a thing in the game but I'm just bigger fan of actual notebooks for some odd reason its better vibe

I'm right there with you, although I wish the game development aspect was also taken to the next level. It's all just programming and nothing else right now.
