Give Me a Story, I'll Give You a Build

I have a big project for you if you wanna give it a go? I don't exactly have a layout in mind, but i do have a few specifics.
I want something like THIS. In this build, there is 4 houses, i was hoping for 6. They don't have to be elaborate two stories and fully furnished like the one in the link. Because i am using them for story making. I generally need every house to have a dining, lounge, a teen bedroom, hallway/entry area, maybe a kitchen (but not necessarily needed). One house has to have a pool, all should have a small front garden (for gardening purposes and conversing with neighbours etc) and outside entertaining areas in each yard are essential. If they cannot fit, inside entertaining areas (fancy dining rooms will be ok).

My latest post on my tumblr (in my signature) has details of my story so you can get a feel for what i'm about to start writing about ... I recently posted a casting call. All the characters are there too ... so you can figure out what kind of teen bedrooms to make. I don't mind maxis match CC if you need to.

I cannot build. Like at all. I'm hopeless at it! I was literally going to use the above build and edit it a lot to fit the needs for my story because i couldn't find what i needed. I liked the picturesque neighbourhood look in the above build, because i will be using the street in the story a fair bit since the main character doesn't really get around since she is blind. So 90% of the story process will be on the cul-de-sac.

Let me know if your keen do try. Its kind of a big ask actually ... so it's okay if its too much.

I would love to give this a try! I'll work on it this weekend, and since it's such a big project, I'll post updates. I don't build with CC, but I do try to keep in mind that people like to redecorate, so if you have CC you want to use, you should be able to swap things out easily.

Let me know what expansions/packs you have, and in the meantime I'll look for some cute 2-3 bedroom house plans and start figuring how I'll get six on a cul-de-sac. Either one or two story houses are good? Planned-neighborhood feel, where they're all more or less the same?

Definitely a friendly neighbourhood feel where all the family know each other well. Garden together, entertain together etc. If you look at the lot used (in the link above) it has a fountain out front and gated looking community with foot paths etc, that's the thing i was kinda going for. Single or two stories are fine, there is a rich family in the bunch... :) Even if you want to leave the houses as empty shells ...that's completely okay so you can concentrate on their outsides and the look of the neighbourhood, that would be fine by me.

I have all the expansions except the last two released (get famous and eco lifestyle)

I have backyard pack, laundry day, romantic garden, vintage glamour, tiny living stuff packs.

There are a lot of rules for this challenge! I think I got them all, though.

Though there is no refrigerator or bath tub, there is room for both. There's also room for skill items, including a roof for the rocket ship. The rules say to make the lot off-grid, so there is no computer, but there is a desk.
