I would love to have sewing back. Maybe patterned after the wood working table only based on your creativity skill where you can craft various objects and having a high level or perhaps max creativity skill opens up the option to craft clothing items that would then be unlocked in CAS. (I believe the sewing in Sims 2 does this I haven't had a sim fully explore the hobby yet)
I would prefer to have ballet/dance be a career option though not just a hobby.
Omg sewing! I'd love that, especially if it worked like you suggested. We could choose to hand-sew or use a sewing machine, use sewing dummies and other accoutrements, and could wear and sell our own creations. I'd prefer ballet as a career option too now that you mention it; either way I'd be excited.

Great point and great suggestion, but that would be too much to include in a Game Pack with several other activities/skills imo. That belongs in a Music Game Pack so it could be focused on and fully explored, then I'd be 100% here for it.

Oooo yes please! I'd prefer a fair/carnival. Small town Americana vibes, quirky attractions/rickety semi-dangerous rides, all that hot-mess fair food that we could make at home after "learning the recipes." I need it!
