I do find it a task to gain money and usually cheat by sending my sims to fish for those expensive gold plates and frogs in Jungle Adventure along with collecting, gardening, and harvesting. Thing is, once you do that, you deck your house out and then there's nothing to spend on but vacations or early retirement. Adding the ability to own more businesses, have more transportation items like boats, yachts, campers, vehicles, pleasure vehicles, more businesses, and more than one piece of land would put an end to that. You could own a vacation home, resort, and businesses in Sims3. Also, if Sims4 hadn't been made less than Sims3, then Sims could've had businesses to go to like the theater, spas, ect. where they would've had to pay to get in and things we've never got like a zoo, petting zoo, Underwater adventure/sea world type of place, and a real fair where you use the ticket system from the Sims3 and you have to pay for any food while you are there and any souvenirs. Cotton candy, to play dart balloons, or ducky pick up for the toddlers ect.

I think hotels/resorts would be fun. I loved resort owning in the Sims 3. The hope is that they will pair it with casinos and houseboats. That would be an awesome pack. I was slightly disappointed with the wedding pack in that the love tree didn't have animations, the lighthouse didn't have any, and the waterfall didn't have woohoo. If these are pack specific then I don't think lighthouses should be included in other packs. They are pretty, but a waste with no interactions. Also, banking could be introduced as a patch that included the system, nonplayable workers, and loans(tie in with college). If you get the Hotels combo, then the jobs in the bank become playable.

I want an option to open a personal account for each sim especially now that we have new careers for teens and trendi and plopsy they can have their own account so instead of money going into household funds it goes into their own personal account they can save or spend. Also I miss hotels so much please can I have a vacation spot like Las Vegas, Nevada Casinos, Hotels and Marriages/ Honeymoon. Instead of Sin City it can be Fun City. Maybe have like 3 Hotels with Casinos, A neighborhood Bar and a neighborhood Restaurant. A wedding chapel. Have room service if you win a jackpot you get a choice to move up to the luxury penthouses and a souvenir either buy some souvenir or earn it. Also Entertainment shows at the hotels, Something for the kids as well.

as a player i do not understand has i see nothing wrong with how the current system is and i am the type of player that use cheats to max skills and give max amount of simoleon to my sims from the start so i have to disagree partaly to this idea but the hotel system is a good idea

Hotels, resorts, banking system, owning more properties & house builders adds huge amount gameplay!

I can write five books and my Sim will be set for life. It's that boring. We definitely need something to make it harder, at least as an option for those who are not into casual gaming.

Most of the idea is for stuff we don't have or stuff that has never been in any sim game ever. I'm saying we need more stuff to spend our money on; that's my point. Give us more stuff. Once there is loads of stuff then you have something to spend it on. And I cheat by getting the plates/frogs to get money, but if I didn't and I wanted extra properties or to buy a store or resort then the banking system and loans would add such play to the game.

The hotel is good as in we can go there for fun/vacation or we can own it and build it up. Either way there is play there for many.

@davina1221 what are your toughs on sims going on cruise since cruise ships have some fancy restaurant a buffet a casino shops to purchuse things ect?

I like the ideas of hotels. I'd also add in proper apartment buildings where you can create an entire building and add separate apartments. Sims can pay rent to stay there similar to how they pay for hotels. I also like campers and such. Vehicles in the game would be nice.

A career working at a bank would also be nice. If we could follow our sims to work to a bank we could see them starting out at a low tier job cleaning up and then move on to being a teller and then a bank manager.

Building and owning hotels (or even apartment buildings) would also be nice. I spent several months in a hotel that also doubled as an apartment building. It had a communal pool on the 2nd floor and a restaurant on the first floor. There were some docks out back and apartment residents got to go on fishing trips and anyone who brought fresh caught fish in could take it to the restaurant and get it cooked for free. That was on a tropical island though.

I'd still love for Sims to be able to own their vacation homes and go whenever they want and if they need an income they can work remotely or have a part-time job there (or profit from owning restaurants/apartments).

I'd love the ability to make custom workplaces without having to first follow your sim there. I'd like to visit those places to renovate beforehand or create brand new ones.

I feel like the complaints of more realism and what to spend money on have been around about as long as the Sims has. They technically even added in the bills idea I saw a few years back. Now instead of just a mortgage we have "bills" based on a mortgage or rent and then electricity and water. While adding in more business types or allowing you to play a landlord might offer in some gameplay, it'd probably be more likely to make you money rather than cost you money. Although, it's really difficult for me to make a profit from running a restaurant, generally speaking a business would just add to your surplus of simoleons.
