I am so excited to see what kind of adult Gemma becomes. Knowing what I know about history, WWII will be coming soon and women will be working the factories and becoming the breadwinners. I am eager to see what she thinks of women in the work force, as well as equal rights for women! Based on how she reacted to the gypsy woman ("...please tell your spirits that Gemma Beckham does not need any man to feel complete; not now, and certainly not tomorrow.” HA!!!!), she won't take kindly to women not having a very loud voice at the time. And I can't wait. :innocent:
