inventories and gifts

i’m very disappointed that sims4 only has house inventories. i would love for my newly teen to adult sims to take their belongings with them when they leave home! Also in adult group living together situations when one moves out. ..ie divorce. also Sims2 had a wonderful “give gift” option. it was so fun to have rich grandparents buy and gift the teens cars; for example. Is there a future with expanded personal inventories or/and adding gift giving?
