Description: Tia didn't want an apprentice. But Ava's willingness to abandon her humanity for the ways of the techie merfolk won her over. Ava has proven an excellent student--learning robotics, programming, and even rocket science under Tia's careful supervision. But when a chance ride in their home rocket leads to an encounter with a temperamental space cadet, the mermaids become unexpected (and unprepared) Earth ambassadors.
