I was of that opinion as well, that it should have been included from the beginning and I ranted about it quite a lot when ROM came out.
Hmm... I have only played Sims 4 so from my experience kids and occult are very very far from each other. I really don't expect them to add that, it would be great but the occult is really focused on teens and up. Maybe a refresh would add that, who knows.
Think Bienchen has a mod for the mermaids, should nab that before the patch, thanks.
