The Modern Disney Princesses were created for a competition on the Sims 4 Facebook page. We were tasked to create Disney themed Sims or lots for the OP to use in a Disney themed save. The rules stated that no custom content was to be used, so that's why I decided to create a more modern version of them... I like how most of them turned out, though there are one or two I would do differently if I remade them...

The Frozen Sims were created as a bonus to the competition, seeing as they aren't a part of the original Disney Princess line-up. I was just feeling inspired and decided to give them a shot too! My favourite is Anna.

Design: I like how Snow White turned out, she looks like a pretty good modern version of herself. Her traits and aspiration were easy to choose, as I went by how she is in the first Snow White movie. I was really glad that I found the hair style I used! I also made sure to stick as close to her colour scheme as I could, which meant lots of blues and yellows!
Aspiration: Friend of the Animals

Design: I like how Snow White turned out, she looks like a pretty good modern version of herself. Her traits and aspiration were easy to choose, as I went by how she is in the first Snow White movie. I was really glad that I found the hair style I used! I also made sure to stick as close to her colour scheme as I could, which meant lots of blues and yellows!

Design: Cinderella was a little harder to make, as there weren't very many 'scruffy' outfits that suited her. In the end I went with a ragged looking skirt and a plain top. She has a full set of outfits, so she also has a nice fancy set up for her formal gear! I also tried to stick to 2 main colour schemes... brown and grey for her run down outfits, and light blue for her fancy wear. If I was to remake her there are a few things I'd change, I would love to use CC to get her just right...

Design: As I'm not too familiar with Aurora and the Sleeping Beauty story, especially not the Disney rendition, this was very hard... I'm not too pleased with how she looks so there is a lot that I would change if I made her again. Specifically her face shape, I would probably use a reference next time... her colour scheme was mainly pink.

Design: I quite liked how Ariel turned out... obviously she is a human in this design as I couldn't use CC. I used green as a colour scheme but I have managed to get some purple in her outfits too! I chose her everyday dress because I love how it reminded me of her tail and scales.

Design: I absolutely love how she came out. I wouldn't change anything if I remade her! Her colour scheme was mainly blue and I just love her skin tone. She's one of my absolute favourite Sims. Hands down.

Design: Pocahontas was kind of hard to make... I couldn't seem to find clothes that I was totally happy with, but I do like what I finally settled on. Her colour scheme was mainly browns/yellows. If I was to remake her I would probably change her hair and face.

Design: I like how Mulan turned out, I was aiming for a cross between her warrior self and geisha self. I think her make-up matches her feminine side quite nicely, and her outfit looks more masculine (except maybe the colour...) She was quite difficult to do because I wasn't sure how to get the cross I was looking for, and the clothes available in the game weren't suited to her. In the end I am happy with what I chose!
