It is going well in the game. My sim now has a chess table and a guitar in her bedroom. She also is working on a lab room and I am putting her microscope prints on the walls of the lab room. She also has a garden. To keep her from having mass deaths, I have her only growing flowers at the moment. Most plant deaths I have had within a sim day is 4. Flowers are also how she is earning thousands of simoleons. She is getting close to getting similar pay at work to what she gets from the flowers. She is also working on building a rocket in her backyard. I suspect that within a few sim weeks, she will be able to collect metals, geodes, and other collectables from alien worlds.

And just so you know, it is night right now for my sim, I just use the day/night toggle to get daytime photos because during the day, my sim is very busy and I focus on her needs.
@tg9999 I looked at that photo of yours and wow, it looks like a Queen's bathroom.
