Maroon, Burgundy, Wine, Garnet, Deep Red

This region of the colorwheel has a lot of different names, yet any variation of dark red appears to be completely absent from base game swatches. I am a little ashamed to be so enraged by a lack of a specific(ish) color, but then I think of those basegame objects: couches, counters, rugs. A million color ways. Nothing is maroon.

I do realize that Vampires and Cats and Dogs add a couple chairs that are a bit deeper than the typical red. But what harm could come from adding one more option to the swath of swatches we have for those base game items? Such a basic color, perfect for base game.

I'm mostly upset because I want a house with maroon siding. What do you want that's maroon? Or what other obvious color do you feel is left out? (I'd trade olive green for forest any day).

Just wanted to blow off some steam and make a wish.

It is a very pretty color. I support your lifestyle choices
  • I feel like there aren't enough magentas (sort of that strong, berry pink color) to go around. Also, not nearly enough leopard, cheetah, tiger, or zebra print in this game, either.
  • We need more colors and patterns just in general. I miss the TS3 pattern system sorely.
  • I want to be able to filter by burgundy or teal in CAS/BB. I have having to include blue and green to find teal objects, it takes forever.
