It was because of that cheap bed. Maybe she should have kept Maaike's bed afterall. Oh well, she'd just sell hers and buy a new one with the money she'd make from her job today. She was feeling pretty confident about her new job as an agent - err...clerk (but she would totally be an agent soon, she reasoned).

While at work, she couldn't resist the urge to swipe a little something.

After work she was in a bad mood again and felt like dancing it off at the local pub. There was a guy dancing, but when she went to join him, he sat down at one of the game tables. Rude! She told him off.

But even though she told him off, he was still trying to talk to her.

She was NOT interested, and she told him so. That seemed to upset him and he left to go to the bar.

"What the heck? Is he STILL trying to chat me up?"

This made her angry, so she went outside to kick a trashcan.

She wanted a drink but that guy, Marcus he said, was still at the bar, and was STILL smiling at her. Uhm...

After a few insults he finally got the hint, but she was interrupted in the middle of insulting Marcus by some chipper blonde chick.

So they got into it.

Finally, peace and quiet.

But then Maaike called.

"I could literally care less...I'm at the Shrieking Llama, Maaike, and everyone is ticking me off right now. Talk later."
And THIS guy. He was taking forever to make her drink and kept dropping bottles on the floor.
"What is your problem?"

I guess Maaike took that as an invitation to come join her, because she showed up not long afterward. She seemed a little down. Ulrike felt only a little bad.

But Maaike was very amused by her and the bartender fighting. It seemed to cheer her up even. It seemed that Maaike was the only one not ticking Ulrike off tonight. Maybe she missed having a roommate. Just a little bit.

After one too many drinks she got into a fight with the bartender and declared him as her enemy.

Then it was time to head home and troll teh forums on her new stolen tablet.
