Hi guys. I'm awake (oddly enough) and just wanted to say I'm really sorry for dropping off.
I've been in and out of the hospital with severe muscle and joint pain and my extremities went numb- fingers, toes, parts of my hands and feet. And I was finding it hard to breathe.
On a scale of 1-10 pain-wise I was at an 8, and everyone's 10 is different. My 10 happens to be having a staph infection that went necrotic that had to be operated on while I was awake without anesthetic, so when I explained my 10 to the doctor he was like "Oh **** that is not good."
So many tests, I have feeling back in my fingers and toes, but I haven't been able to eat for 5 days. Right now I made egg drop soup and have been eating on one bowl of it for the past two hours.
They told me to stay in bed. The pain is so bad it's hard to eat and sometimes I literally can't walk. And if I try to I just kind of lurch around, losing my balance, getting dizzy. Which is bad because guess what humans have to do now and then? Yep, they gotta go to the toilet.
So I've got more tests scheduled to check further for neuropathy, and they're doing tests for rheumatoid arthritis, but they said yes, Fibromyalgia CAN get this bad.
My uncle's acupuncturist is setting me up with one in my area, and I'm currently on Naproxen twice a day as a floater/management dose to take the edge off and bring feeling back into my phalanges, and Morphine as needed.
So yeah I felt like I owed you guys an explanation for disappearing.
