Yes, please. Also grandparents, step parents, step siblings, Adopted parents, adopted child, adopted siblings, twins, triplets, ex boy/girlfriend, 2nd and 3rd cousin. Golly…

Yeah, I agree! We definitely need more "advanced" options when it comes to relationships in CAS.

I also think that it would be better if we had the family tree system like we used to in TS2 & 3 where you drag each sim to another to choose their relationship to each other, just the way it was more visual made it easier to understand. I understand the reasonings why we didn't originally have it (because TS4 didn't come with a family tree) but now that we have the genealogy it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

I would like stepparents not to be roommates and then having people develop creepy relationships. Also registering cousins (second and above) as family so we don't have weird genetics going on. If someone has a progression mod, like me, that becomes a serious issue.

I agree I would like more options like Second cousin, stepmom, foster mom.

I'd like to be able to set 'Girlfriend'/ 'Boyfriend'

Cousin and Grandparent is the ones I really want though. The "parents" in between grandparents and grandchildren could just be generated as those empty boxes in the family tree when there is no parents created.

Yes I've mentioned this so many times and even tweeted the gurus. It could be patched in.

Oh, that's good that you've tweeted the gurus! That makes me think they'll probably add it in at some point in the near future. How long ago was it that you asked them @catloverplayer?

I'm asking them frequently. SimGuruJill for one because she's over CAS and also Daniel and TheSims.

We're Dating or Divorced should be new CAS options because it would be easier to make blended families but for crushes, affairs, friends or enemies should be a separate mode where the game autonomously create the type of story you want. It would make it easier to set up scenarios.

I'd love to be able to create grandparents raising a grandchild. Creating unmarried couples would be nice, too.
