Oh YES, not only do I agree with the poster of this, but I agree with you on the accent thing! In Sims Medieval the Sims spoke Simlish, but they did it in a British accent, I LOVED IT, and wish they would add British accents especially or Australian too or any UK accents, because I love that in real life too,lol!
I mean I'm American, but I find American accents boring, which is why I watch A LOT of British and Australian shows and movies when ever I can! So I would just love it if they would add new voices, but also add some with accents, so we can have more variety in out games!
I find it sad that people in other countries have to use ones with a American sound, instead of something more like their own accents! But I think we all would like more variety with the accents!
I frankly don't like the males voices at all, they all sound kind of comical, except the first one from the left, which sound too soft, even when you try to make it deep! The other two sounds all scratchy, like a chain smoker or something, but they are also the only ones that can be really deep!
Even with The Sims 3 though the men's voices sounded awful, worse then in The Sims 4 to me! The female voices sound good pretty food mostly, but I still would like more of them, ones with other tones to them! And of course accents!
I wish we could have at least 3 or more if they added accents too! May 3 more in the line of the others, and 6 more with accents! like British, Russian, French, Spanish, and Middle Eastern and one more, I would say Australian, but most would say that's too close to British,lol!
But I doubt we will get accents or more voices, because people wanted that with The Sims 3, and we never got them!
