I am dying for multi-venue lots, not the walk around we have now where we have to make it this or that and if want it to function as that instead of this we have to change the lot type.
I want the lots to be 100% functional no matter what, I as the player, decide it should be. If I place down any interactive object (such as washers and dryers) then all sims should come to that lot and wash their clothes. I shouldn't have to make it a bar or lounge or something else with the laundromat on the side that only gets used by my own sim if I direct them to do it.
TOO MANY RESTRICTIONS ON CREATIVITY IN THIS GAME!!!!!!!
We used to have that in TS2 but even then it was difficult to get sims to use the different objects on the lot in equal manner. Maybe they could add some code where some of the sims on the lot will automatically do some of the things you're doing. Like if you visit the lot to wash clothes, they would do too. If you order drinks from the bar, they would do as well. I don't mind the current set-up that much, except for the fact that there are not enough lots suitable for community venues in terms of location and size, and that we need to pay 100 simoleons if we want to summon the NPC. I would be really happy if the NPCs of the food stands would just show up on lots and would not shout to get customers. Also, we should be able to earn money from the tending the coffee cart and bar, and the massage chair and bed. - Build your own apartment lots, and multifunctional venues.
- keekee534 years agoSeasoned AceWow this was a tough poll. I went with graveyards because I think they should be in by now just like dancing face to face and pool parties. WHY is this not in game already.
Hotels was a close second because I miss interacting with other sims on vacation but the rental lots are doable for now.
Jail was so close too. We really need a police system in game and burglars. Another thing I don't understand why is not in game by now. - CattyBetsy4 years agoSeasoned ScoutGraveyards & Hotels.
- HavenRose20204 years agoNew AceI’d much prefer to run a hotel than the retail lots we have; those don’t interest me at all. But hotels are closely followed by graveyards. I already have a makeshift one set up as a national park, but it’d be nice to have a dedicated lot type with unique interactions.
- I said graveyards but I also think that no matter what there should be a twist on any type of venue that's added. Since the sims is not supposed to be exactly like the real world I think it only makes sense that something odd or wacky (for lack of a better word) is incorporated into the venues.
Like maybe the graveyard acts as a normal graveyard but if you have a decent handiness skill you could fix an old tomb that then opens and acts as a portal to a ghost world. We know that ghosts can have their own lives in the sims and that there are ghost pets so I think a world of ghosts filled with special occult sims things would be interesting. Or even on a smaller scale, since a graveyard is said to be where people go and never leave, maybe the graveyard is actually an apartment or hotel for ghosts. There could be a whole new career path as a ghost caretaker where you start as something like a graveyard night guard and work to help keep the ghosts happy (maybe you need to keep the graveyard clean for your job performance since angry ghosts will mess things up) eventually you can become the head of the 'Haunts Hotel' or 'Revenant's Resort'.
This could also totally be incorporated into a 'hospitality pack' where they bring in hotels, inns, things like that. They could have hospitality be a new skill and let your sims manage places, hire staff, incorporate design skills. There are so many possibilities. "MintMango13;c-17922296" wrote:

I would love for there to be a place to do pinball like in the first "The Sims" as well as laser tag. I also want an rink to do rollerblading. Just a few ideas that I was thinking about.
you can do rollerblading in seasons @EliteGirl"EliteGirl;c-17923026" wrote:
I did not know that, comicsforlife. Thank you for the info.
your welcome @EliteGirl- A sportsarena where you could send eight sims and they would fight it out to see which Sims are best in a particular event, like for example tabletennis, chess, dart or bowling
