Tragedy and Other Stuff...

First because we haven't seen him in a while I went to check in on William and Jane Johnson. If you don't remember William is the son of Paul Johnson who married Ruth. They had a little girl named Octavia Johnson and she is absolutely adorable.

As for the rest of the year... I had so much going on I forgot about both Happy and Bomber's death rolls so they got to live another year by default. Bomber is now 23 and Happy 16. Dorothy was pregnant at the first of the year and around Mid Year Robert becomes a Young Adult about just before September's Tragedy happens. Then a crazy fire and the loss of family. AFter which a bunch of simmies age up.

Around September Nellie was ready to go home. She felt she was better and it had been near a year since being in The Asylum. Frank was concerned and she didn't take that very well but understood why. She assured him everything was going to be ok and that it's just time. Doctor Strange felt that she needed a bit more time and that they should increase visitation with some days outside the facility. While Nellie wasn't fond of this idea as she grew more weary of her room mate she knew she had to be careful with what she said. The Doctor did ensure Frank that she will be placed in a new single room to make it both easier and better for the discharge. And he felt confident she would be able to return home by Thanksgiving. Sadly her room mate had other plans. She was deviously insane and set fire to Nellie's bed then locked the room so no one could enter it. The Asylum struck up flames and everyone had escaped. Everyone except Nellie. By the time the thin man had noticed her not at the safe site he ran back in trying to save her. But it was too late. The flames had engulfed her and taken her life.

Dr. Strange notified Frank and offered his condolences giving him her ashes. Frank was grave with grief but had to be strong for his boys. Edward blamed his father for her death and sunk into a depression. He couldn't forgive his father and while he may of had to live under the same roof he kept his distance from Frank whenever he could. The family came for the funeral and she was given a plot at the family site.
