Week 2: Wednesday
https://i.ibb.co/NxWBjtg/157.jpg
Continuing with the red theme for the week on the mannequins outfits was the only changes to the store from yesterday.

With 1,305 perk points available, I use 300 of them again to get the Superfluous Surplus to cut back the cost of restocking. It helped yesterday and with the 25% mark up for today, it will be a big help as well.
Advertising uses simoleons from the store account. Pietro has 1,481 simoleons saved up, so he uses 250 of them for a Short Term Web Campaign that will provide a large initial spike in foot traffic that trails off near the end. He performs this action on his register immediately after opening the store at 9:00am. This does put in the negative for profit for the day, but hopefully the increase in traffic will quickly change that.
Sergio shows up for work around 9:30am with a crowd of customers behind him.

The first sale is a little before 1:30pm. That's 4.5 hours after the store opened. All the customers liked to talk more than shop. I hope the web campaign didn't actually hurt Pietro's sales today. The customer buys the planter (Tiered To Simplicity).
Pietro sends Sergio over to restock it and all items for today. In between stocking, Pietro will have him talk to customers. Hopefully that will keep him off his phone during the downtimes, possibly there won't be much of that now he's had his first sale for the day.

3 customers request to be rung up. There's no way Pietro will get to all 3. He asks for assistance from Sergio to help ring them up. Please don't use your phone this time, Sergio.
Pietro goes over to help the elderly gentleman first as he was the first one to speak up. He bought the lounge chair (Tempting Teak Lounge Chair).

Sergio stood around for a little bit as the two awaiting customers soon had red shopping carts bubbles that were pulsating. Darn you Sergio. But then he walks over and grabs one. Phew. Pietro quickly goes over to grab the other. 2 sales saved.
Sergio's customer buys the green chair (The Flowery). Pietro's customer, Mr. Dirk Dreamer, buys the mirror (Natural Beauty Mirror).

Pietro requests Sergio to begin restocking. He also helps to get the items restocked as quickly as possible. There are customers in the store who may have also wanted to buy those sold items.

Another returning customer, Dustin Broke, is wanting to buy something around 4:45pm. The store's been open for 7 hours and there's only been 4 sales. Dustin's being the 5th. Hopefully there's more traffic. Pietro needs more sales. Mr. Broke purchases the lounge chair (Tempting Teak Lounge Chair).

Sergio clocks out around 7:30pm. I don't understand his hours. Oh, well. He was able to get all the restocking and then talk to customers.
A little after 8:00pm another customer ready to make a purchase. She buys the green chair (The Flowery).

Pietro isn't able to restock as another customers is ready to be rung up. It's Leila, who he met last week at the beach. This is nice of her to stop in and make a purchase from Pietro. She buys the planter (Tiered To Simplicity).

Pietro has his work cut out for him. Now 2 more customers waiting to buy. His Bladder is in the yellow, but there's no time. Make those sales. Hold it in, Pietro.
The youngster is first. This is Mortimer's son, Alexander. He looks a lot like his sister, Cassandra.

Alexander wanted the beach outfit from the boy mannequin. He likes it.

Now to get this other customer. Then hopefully Pietro can run to the restroom. He buys the lounge chair (Tempting Teak Lounge Chair).
Pietro heads to the restroom as his Bladder turns orange after the sale. He really needs to relieve himself. Don't want him peeing his shorts. That would not look good.

After using the restroom, it's 10:00pm. This was not a good day compared to yesterday for sales even though Pietro paid for higher traffic. He had the traffic, just not the buying kind.
However, just before closing a customer wanted to buy something. Make this sale, Pietro. You've almost sold all your merchandise anyway without being able to restock. She wanted the mirror (Natural Beauty Mirror).

A notice pops up that there's isn't anything for sale. There's still clothing, but I guess that doesn't count. But it doesn't matter. It's 10:30pm and time to close the store.

Only 10 items were sold today. Not what Pietro nor I was expecting or wanted. The web campaign was a bust and a waste of simoleons if you ask me. Pietro and Sergio made a profit of around 400 simoleons. Not a good day at all.
