I think Beach Vacation is a must and hope that if they make it they can/will implement at least some of your ideas.
I'd love to have Winter Vacation as it would be something almost (apart from The Sims) completely new. A Yeti NPC would be very interesting indeed!
The Sport/Outdoor Fun idea sounds nice too and could be a possibilty to add plenty of new activities for sims of all ages + pets.
Having the opportunity to have the sims persue hobbies like crocheting, sewing or doing pottery would be great. I really liked it in The Sims 2 to be able to craft objects and clothing as the skill built up. Also an activity table like that would be much appreciated. I was very disappointed when I found out they couldn't draw on the one in The Sims 3 even though there are sheets on it.

Definitely YES to the sims 2 hobbies making a return to sims 4. I thought Sims 2 Freetime was so much fun because it had soccer, pottery, sewing, contests, etc. Toy ovens would be so cute too! I would like new playground games like hide and seek, cops and robbers, tag, duck duck goose, and new equipment for our children, like hopscotch, things to climb (monkey bar dome or rock climbing), Roundabout (circle that has handlebars and spins around), treehouses, bouncy things.

Winter vacations would be interesting and new for the sim series, and I think it would be so fun and cute, especially having the Yeti NPC. Reminds me of Overwatch's winter challenges with Mei and the Yeti LOL Love the idea of snowboarding, skiing, and sleighs. They can stay in a warm cozy lodge, hang out in the village's piazza drinking hot chocolate, buying souvenirs, ice skating, etc. or ride ski lifts up the snowy mountains to do the sporty or adventurous activities.

I love all the ideas but we definitely need the beach to be introduced already! My favorite pack in Sims 3 was Island Paradise so I can't wait for a tropical world in sims 4! :smile: I would love to be able to swim in the ocean, go tanning, go diving/snorkeling, and have more casual summer clothes in CAS, like boho flare pants, flowy shirts, new rompers, new sandals, fishnet shirts, denim skirts/shorts, new bathing suits, new tank tops, kimonos, beach coverups, new hats, etc. New music/dances could also be Mambo, Merengue, and Calypso inspired. Sims could also do the Limbo. Maybe new pets can be introduced, like parrots and new types of fish. I like the idea of the lifeguards/high waves (especially with storms in seasons pack), and the jellyfish stings adding an element of danger. Maybe they can see manatees, stingrays, sharks by the shore as well. Stingrays and sharks won't bite unless provoked, maybe? :D

I thought of some other things that would be nice for the Hobby GP ideas: a Bobby-car for toddlers and a sketchbook similar to the one from TS3 UL but smaller and placeable on tables.

Additional ideas for beach vacations:
*Clam digging from fresh water
*Oyster digging & kelp picking
*Clams and Oysters could be harvested for meat & pearls
*Clams & oysters could be placed in aquariums back home for harvest or released in salt & fresh waters back home to seed the lots for later harvest
*Exotic fish
*Tropical seeds that can be planted in green houses and/or gardens
*New types of flowers and fruit
*Jet ski & parasailing rides
*Park with waterslides and pools
*CAS items would include coconut bra & seashell bra & maybe grass skirts (if they don't already exist for the game)
*Souvenirs could include shot glasses, little drink umbrellas, and latte stones (miniature versions of supports for buildings from Guam)
*Warm water scuba diving which allows Sims to search underwater for sunken treasure and rare seashells.
*Underwater caves & sunken ships to explore
*Befriend dolphins & play with them-- if they like the Sim enough they might take them for a ride

It would actually be great if kelp growing and clam/oyster digging could be added to regular neighborhoods as well.

Additional ideas for winter vacations:
*Igloos that are sort of like tents (they can range from tiny single occupant ones to group igloos)
*Cabin with cozy fireplaces that Sims gather around and roast marshmallows
*Ice fishing
*Sleds & sledding (is that what you meant by sleighs?)
*Firewood gathering with the chance to find something interesting-- either good or bad.
*Cold water scuba diving (requires special protective diving suits & masks)
*Find lost artifacts in the snow
*Collect seeds / fruit from winter plants that can be planted in gardens or special greenhouses that are kept cold with thermostats
*Souvenirs include steins, mugs, winter trophies
*Sims can play pranks on Yeti in the spirit of the Jack Links Sasquatch

Additional ideas for Creative Hobbies:
*Sheep, llamas, and alpacas that can be shaved to harvest wool
*Sims with dogs & cats can collect fur that can be used to make yarn/thread (Believe it or not, there are people who do this in real life)
*Grow cotton for sewing material
*Spinning wheels and looms for sewing / weaving (weaving will yield things like decorative rugs & tapestries)
*Basket weaving from grass & other plants
*Collect materials from fruits & shells to make dyes for clothes
*Collect/harvest sand & clay from various places--each having different properties/colors
*Glass blowing (using sand that is heated or Sims can buy sand)
*Painting pottery, rocks, eggs etc (perhaps paintings could be made with lacquer, eggshell, and/or mother-of-pearl from shells)
*Whittling / wood carving
*Jewelry making-- from manipulating metals in to jewelry to cutting gems that are found. Pearls & gems can be set in metal settings.
*Sims can find and read books/scrolls on various new types of crafting to learn how to make new things and boost their creative/sewing/etc skill

Really like your ideas as well! Oh oops, yes, that's what I meant with "sleigh"! Also, regarding the making yarn/thread out of cats and dogs fur - just today I stumbled upon a book called "Crafting with Cat Hair" and I couldn't believe it lol :D

I’d really love to see a mythical or unusual creature expansion for ts4 pets. Dragons, faeries, phoenix, dinosaurs (not mythical lol), unicorns, centaurs?, aliens!, pokemon (probably not but was worth a try lol)!

Really dig the idea with the sheep/llamas/alpacas from which you can obtain wool, as I sometimes use alpaca wool for my crocheting in reality.
I would generally like more animals - small or big! It actually surprises me that there hasn't been any llamas yet. They could also be included with a farm pack, together with cows, chicken etc.
And how I would like to have lop eared bunnies! I imagine them to be purchasable from a rabbit hutch + run area. Bunnies move and interact within it, similar to how other small pets did in previous The Sims games. But I would like to have the possibilty to take the bunny out, have it hop around in the garden, pet it and maybe feed it a carrot. A similar concept could work for other new small-medium pets, such as ferrets, little pigs, and so on.

Nindl, I forgot to say how awesome your ideas. My original message was a jumbled mess and I must have deleted that bit when I was trying to streamline it.

Sally, since I grew up on a farm I would really love to have a farm pack. I liked the chickens and cows from the Sims3 Store, but they couldn't really interact much. I raised chickens and they like to be petted. Roosters hate the color red-- I had one who would charge at us and jump in the air and kick at us if we wore red (so we would have to use trash can lids as shields).

I've had rabbits as pets before too. Rabbits liked to chew through the wood on the hutch to get free. I had a very sweet lop-eared rabbit. I also once rescued a wild bunny (dogs caught it but didn't injure it) and raised it. Wild ones need a more specialized diet: Timothy hay. Carrots only as a treat from time to time. NO cabbage or lettuce as it can give them gas and rabbits have no way of passing gas and can die.

I also raised cows. Depending on the breed they can be docile and friendly, skittish, or aggressively playful. My first cow was the former. I bottle-fed her and she loved to be petted and was just very sweet. Current oldest cow is the latter. She thinks it's really fun to hop up and down, charge at people, and chase them. She doesn't mean any harm, it's just playing. Her daughter is the middle one. She's very skittish and nervous and doesn't want to let people get too close, but she's very affectionate with her mother.

That sounds very fun and interesting! I agree about the store objects from The Sims 3. It would be so nice to have cows like proper animals, instead of them being tied to an object. Maybe even with three basic personalties, like you described.
Thanks about the information about bunnies. Yes, right, their feed would be in their enclosure - I meant carrots just to serve as an in-between-snack, providing a sweet extra interaction. :smile:

Well, all of that would be lovely in a Gameplay Pack. Together with a suiting world, clothing and furniture options. Somebody could make a list, like Nindl did in her original post. Maybe I'll do it myself, if I find the time.

I definitely believe The Sims 4 brings back that island vibe world similar to island paradise... especially SHARKS, THE KRACKEN, MERMAIDS. Maybe replace with octopuse, sting rays, jellyfish? Not to forget to swim in the sea and have a beach as a option to travel to on its own.

We NEED a college/university expansion pack also now seasons has been confirmed! :)
