It would be great if sims can also own, manage and work there operating rides, attending game booths and food stalls and we can hire employees and assign their outfits like in Dine Out.
I can't imagine anything more boring. If your sim is a writer, they sit at their computer and type, type, type for hours. Boring. You do get a book to publish and royalties but still boring. I can't imagine following my sim to the carnival to watch them man a booth all day. Jobs should be interesting if your going to follow them to work, like a doctor, scientist, vet, all at least have actions and tasks to accomplish. Booth tending, no thanks.
I'm sorry you can't imagine anything more boring. I don't imagine owning, managing or working at an amusement park boring though.
I think it would be great if I can have one of my sims own the amusement park, some of my other sims work there, and the rest of my sims go there for rides, games, food and just to socialize. I think being able to switch from playing as the owner to playing as the employee to playing as the customer is what many simmers want as it gives us more control over our worlds. We want to rule!
Manning a game booth or concession stand does not need to be boring. They can add a list of tasks like for the other active careers. In real life, game booth attendants and concession stand employees don't just stand there all day. They have tasks just like employees in other jobs.
It would be a great time to bring back a working cash register and the ticket machine like we had in TS2 OFB too!
Okay, what list of tasks do you imagine happening while playing a sim that mans a booth or a ride? What exactly are you imagining because it must be much more impressive than I can imagine. So, give me a breakdown of your sims day, working at a carnival somewhere. What exactly happens?
The tasks would depend on what the developers want to include. I'm not going to supply you with a list of possibilities. If you're not familiar with the tasks of a booth attendant or ride operator, I would suggest that you do your research and then put a funny spin on them.
The tasks that they do is less boring than the tasks of a seamstress or dress designer, which are jobs you want included in the game. Booth attendants and ride operators at least interact with others unlike what you want.
