Here's a twist if anyone wants an additional facet or to play this challenge again with a different approach. I combined this with a Kleptomaniac challenge, and it was really fun.
- You must steal anything you need to furnish your apartments. (Foraging is OK.)
- You can sell what you steal, but can only buy things you absolutely need and aren't stealable.
- If you just want it--but can't steal it--you'll have to do without. (Rugs, dishwasher, mirrors etc.) No buying nicer items if a useful but different model is stealable.
- You can spend money on building, renovating, floor and wall patterns.
- You can choose one extra money-making hobby (Gardening or painting for example.) You can buy an easel, but you have to forage or steal plants and seeds.
- Once you get to your last residence in Torendi Tower, you can spend all your money and buy and sell what you want to create the place of your dreams. (Or play by the rules for Torendi and then move back to your favourite residence and spend your money there.)
Optional:
- Don't steal stuff that ruins another sim's household--like the only fridge or stove. (Or replace the stolen item like a person would with insurance in real life.)
- Don't steal fire alarms or items that could hurt another sim (You can buy one if you choose this.)
- Use the MoreSwipeables_Klepto mod to be able to steal more stuff right away.
- Combine with the Sticky Fingers aspiration.
- Steal all the art from the galleries and replace with your own paintings.
