Hey guys, I know this is coming terribly late, but I've just finished this story and wanted to share a few thoughts about it. I hope that's okay.
Amazon Story - Tribe Naheli by @Marialein
1. What is your overall opinion on the story? What made it unique and what spoke to you most?
Well, I am not the biggest fan of Amazon challenges - I tried to read a few and I usually lost interest after the first generation. But this one! This one is easily one of my favourite sim stories ever. The story is just so captivating and what I totally love is the complexity of it. It's not only a story about some tribe - it's the whole Amazon Universe, a special authentic world with their own distinctive culture and institutions and history - and it's just so cool. It really draws me into the story to such an extent - at some point I found myself wondering how I would react, how I would interact with this new, fantasy world, what role I could play in that kind of society. And I think it's really cool when that happens to a reader.
2. Do you have any favourite character? If so what makes that character your favourite? And do you have any characters you dislike, why?
I really like Nomir. I found his loyal love for Tebethia poignant and beautiful. I'm glad he's got his happy end with her. And I like Zaraphire after the memory loss. She's just so at peace and so satisfied with her life, it's almost scary (I somehow sense her life won't be this peaceful for long). And I also like Armeni, because...well, you all saw Armeni, he's just
3. Any favourite situations? Funny/emotional/sweet/special moments?
Definitely Kalani and Keria's talk when she told him she was from the descendant of the Moon princess. It was such a special, intimate moment. And also when Nahelis attacked Parallo's tribe to save Fire's son. SO fierce! >:)
4. Do you have any constructive criticism?
None
