I have started the Dude Ranch Challenge rags to riches style starting with 0 simoleons on the 64 x 64 Red Roan Field lot in Chestnut Ridge. I added off-the-grid for the lot trait. Meet Rose Cartwright, a homeless teen, who inherited the run down ranch from her great-great Grandpappy Ben Cartwright.

Once she had enough simoleons, she bought a stallion rescue horse name Chicory.
When she had more funds, she bought another rescue horse named Blaze, and she had Chicory and Blaze breed. This produced a Colt named Copper. He got the secret breeding playful trait.
In week 2, Rose bought another rescue horse named Misty, a mare and had that horse breed with Chicory. Misty is pregnant, so another one is on the way!
While she is getting lots of horses, this is the state of her house. She is camping out. She does have a shower now and a pee bush, but her needs are still bad most of the time.
