[Old] What is in your Del Sol Valley?

@DeiraShadeweaver Have you tried my second-favorite mod, noprerollautonomy? I think there are two mods that do the same, namely disabling the autonomous actions sims attempt during the loading screen. Maybe loading times will be quicker if the game doesn't have to calculate those for ten sims.

Keeping autonomy off ihelps a lot, and I also have neighborhood stories off and use both simulationlagfix and simulation unclogger. The most I ever played this way were thirty sims during a detective career staff outing. Fifty would probably cause me physical headache, keeping track of so many is really impressive!

MCCC also has a setting to pause on load, which I use, and its really great. No more lasso'ing in sims that scatter to all kinds of activities before I can catch my breath. That said, I get in trouble with 4-5+ sims in a house, 50 or even 30 would be impossible :D

Anyway, I rarely do anything to DSV. I've built a few houses mainly for gallery upload, and my test-sims live there. Also think I played the Bailey-Moon house for a short time. Its just not a town I enjoy all that much, its kind of boring to me. Besides, I've not found a place to fish there, and most of my sims are the fishing types.

I've added the Grovestreet houses onto the Cul De Sac and that's truly about it, I've not gotten around to knowing what else I can add namely for the community lots

What's in my Del Sol valley? Lots of wasted effort and bad decisions.

I haven't really made any changes to it, except to take out all the celebrity lot traits & rope barriers to try to make it more inclusive. And evict the premade households as I always do. I have a couple with a toddler living there, because I try to have at least one household in every world, but they're still stuck in a starter home because the next lot up is 250,000, so it'll be a while before they can move. Their little girl is going to grow up to be an actor, but the parents just have regular jobs right now.

What is in Del Sol Valley? It really is a good question! Octavia and Judith are thinking about it right now...

@DeiraShadeweaver Same. Playing without mods at all is out of the question. I tried, didn't even last a week :D And I have to say, LOVE the picture of the rat :) I used to have rats when I was younger, might even get one again. They are incredibly good company :)

Oh and I also forgot to say I have Johnny Zest and Fab Izzy living in DSV too. I've played them quite a bit, they live in the uhh...Vacuous Green or whatever the lot is called. Izzy is a Style Influencer, so for once random neighbourhood walkers are useful.

@Kathykins Pause on Load is a Must! I can't imagine playing without.

I'm still using plzsaysike's mod, I didn't know it was broken, I thought they just quit modding? My version is from August 2021 and is still doing what it is supposed to do (game version: werewolf patch). If you want to risk it, I can upload it.
I looked around for the second mod that does the same, but couldn't find it. I don't remember its creator and exact name and so anything related to "Loading screen" clutters up the search results.

I once reguested a fast food joint from someone , about a year ago, but have sense forgotten about it, this thread reminded me about it :)

Currently up in hill I have Greek style mansion. nothing at other 2 lots.

in residential , cheaper area I have houses what I tried to match surroundings as good as I could.

I basically left every building there but tweaked all of them, the community ones at least. I have used the 50x40 lot vacuous green a couple of times for actors and up and coming musicians' homes, otherwise I never play in DSV.
