[Old] What is in your Del Sol Valley?

I have yet again realized my Del Sol Valley is empty with no hope of recovery  and I wonder what have you others built there?

  • Expensive area: Vennesa, Judith Ward and Bailey-Moon. There’s also a boyfriend that goes between Vanessa and Judith that they are always fighting over

Park area: Morgan Fyres is married to Yuki Behr. Morgan is an extraverted vampire who loves to party. She also donates tons of money to keep from being hated. Yuki is more introverted and doesn’t like going out as much, but they make it work. I just aged up their kids. One boy is an extraverted vampire who loves to party, like his mom. But he goes a bit overboard with the drinking plasma. The older son is jealous he didn’t get the vampire gene and is a spellcaster.

Jed Harris is in the other house. He’s trying to keep two secrets in check while pursuing serious acting. One, his family is embarrassing and the other is that he’s gay.

Everywhere else: I put as many nightclubs and exclusive bars as possible. No gyms or parks. Just nightclubs.

I really wish this world was bigger
  • Nothing beyond what came with Get Famous at present. I've played with a few ideas for it and I do actually like the environment and lighting a lot, but certain lots like Upland Place where the lot doesn't even meet with the pavement/sidewalk is really annoying for me. I'd also have to rebuild all three mansions because I dislike them and since I don't really like doing large builds I keep putting it off. I found it much simpler to just work on Willow Creek instead.

I've mostly left it as it is. I did change the small downtown park to a restaurant, which is a taco truck with outside seating and still has a tiny park area with chess tables and a small dance floor, with a Latin Pop speaker attached to the taco truck. I really love the way it turned out, and my sims go there a lot for first dates, or for a quick bite after a night out at the clubs.

I also removed the gym and added a pan-Asian restaurant. It's pretty nice, with a koi pond and a large dance floor in the back, so I send sims there for special occasions a lot.

I think the only other change I made was to add a shabby triplex to the empty lot in the starter neighborhood. (Vacuous Green, I think?) It's basically just three small run-down detached houses, with a basketball court, a small laundromat, and a bunch of dumpsters in the back of the lot.I haven't added any families to it yet, but I have a few in mind, I'm just waiting for some potential future packs. I'm thinking an elderly lady with lots of pets, a single YA musician (if we ever get a band pack), and a single dad mechanic (if we ever get a car pack) with kids. That seems like a good combo for lots of drama. :D

@Ray_Trace Jeez, how does your game even run with 50 sims? I have a household with 10 sims right now and it takes a week and forever to load.

My computer is pretty beefy so it could handle loading it, though that being said it does take slightly longer to load, like maybe 3-5 minutes of loading screen? But yeah, I rarely need to leave my lot anyway since everything my Sims could ever want is in there.

Also another reason I have 50 guys is because I play S4MP with my sister so she takes care of a good chunk of them. I wouldn't have 50 if it weren't for her.
