Back to school and back to work for D.J. Because he was having so much fun over the weekend, he neglected his homework, so he decided to do it before classes.
After school, D.J. saw he had mail waiting for him. Now that he has an outhouse that requires power to control the toilet and lights, he has to pay for that. He also has to pay for the Lot he is living on now. D.J only had 266 simoleons and his taxes cost him 118. He was able to sell a box of school stuff for an extra 100 simoleons. He was left with 148 simoleons after all his taxes. Now he felt even more broke. Enele told him climbing gear is going to cost him a little under 500 simoleons, so he really needs to save up for that.
D.J. was ashamed, but he went to the Lounge and asked for the free chips they offered. The Mixologist behind the bar was one of the elders he went ice swimming with yesterday. They were sympathetic with D.J. and wasn't upset with the handouts. He knew D.J. had an after school job. Plus, he was excited D.J. was going to attempt to climb Mt. Komorebi.
