(Prologue continued)
Teen: A vampire? Eternal mates? Are you kidding me? You changed my diapers and taught me to ride a bike. I'll always see you as a father figure! Let me go, please! I don't want to become a vampire or live here any longer. I want to seek my destiny elsewhere. A destiny of my own choosing, not yours.
Caleb: You know very well that I'd miss you deeply but that I could never deny you anything.
But I have two conditions: you must graduate from both high school and university.
Teen: Consider it done!
Caleb: Here, take this cash with you to get yourself a small home.
Teen: Thank you but no. You've coddled me enough over the years. I need to do this on my own.
Caleb: Good luck, then. Text me when you're a high school grad. I'll share a secret with you then.
Teen: *leaves the room to get ready to move out

Oh yes you had that lil one 😍 How is the baby doing?
He's good! Usually he sleeps through the night, but he's having a growth spurt I think. So he needs a little extra to eat. Can you believe it's been 10 months already? He'll be a year old in March. Time is flying.
So glad you got the rest to upload! I don’t know why we had so much trouble getting started unless it was just being new here (or so the forum thinks - it recognized me as a member of 14 years at first but then reverted to considering me a newbie - probably because I’ve read post but haven’t plates myself). Anyway, I am no longer having any trouble posting, so hopefully you won’t either.
Great start! I’m seeing some value in you starting late . . . It means we only have a couple of weeks to find out what Caleb has yet to tell . . . “teen” instead of a whole month!
I am sorry that you are having issues uploading your post 🙁It is great though reading what you have already posted and finding out about his background details. It will be good to also discover the secret when he graduates! I look forward to seeing his face reveal in the next post! 🙂

Very interesting prologue.
I think the image cut off is due in part to the rank. As rank increases you're able to do more. Iirc I think it was part to stop bots from spamming
