Thanks everyone for the lovely comments on my build, I have uploaded the reception room on its own.
Last night I wet to a RL wedding and the bride looked like a princess, I took in lots of details of the room in the hotel, sadly the sims hasn't caught up yet with what I need to re create the look ( I love recreating venues ) there were large round tables, the white chairs had sashes on them, the center piece was a tall glass vase with lights at the bottom, a large flower inside the water and a floating candle on the top with a large purple butterfly on top! the wedding cake was tired cup cakes, the room had a fireplace and the bride had put silver framed photos of grandparents who had obviously passed :( on it with flowers, the room had large windows arched at the top with drapes and pelmets, on the floor were led lights that lit the room in different colours, the dance floor was in front of the disco, and behind was a curving double entrance staricase lit with fairylights ! the room was dived into 3/4 I will try and recreate the venue and add it to the gallery, I have 2 more weddings coming up so I could be wedding creative for a while yet lol!

Hello @Liziann1 :) Thankyou very much for telling us about the reception room in the real life wedding that you went to. It sounds so very lovely! It would have been such a beautiful scene to see! The glass vases with the lights on the bottom of them and the flower, floating candle and purple butterfly in them sounds so very pretty! The wedfing cake of tiered cupcakes soubnds very ornate and nice! It is a sad but a very beautiful touch that the bride had placed photos in the room of her grandparents that had passed away. That is lovely.
It will special for you to create the venue in simsgameform! I will look forward to seeing it! :)
