Platform Grievances

I hear you. Some builders go completely nuts with the platforms. They're nice when they're used effectively (see pick below of a house I downloaded form the gallery), but they can cause all sorts of problems when overused. I'll never begin to understand putting a garage on a platform (or a foundation for that matter). I downloaded a house like that once, but I converted the garage to a laboratory. As far as I'm aware the simplest solution is to use the platform lowering feature, instead of the whole level lowering feature that you would use for the foundations. It's still a pain when you're talking about a whole house.

It looks it was designed by Rube Goldberg, but it's actually very convenient and easy to navigate, for the people who live here and the sheep.
