I love your story! Historical romance is beautiful to begin with, and you've added complexity to it. It's sad that the couples have to hide their true selves outside their home, but it's historically accurate, so we're left with something bittersweet.
I also love that everything ties together. A coin in the village fountain kicks off the male romance, and the other side is an echoing female romance. I made sure the fountain was in your movie poster!
