    I think, if they choose not use thermal lots, and wish to keep their sims alive, most people including myself would be more than happy to build a pool that conforms to the covers' size (provided that it is generous enough to allow room for ALL of the pool activities available from ALL packs). If they can dive, use the slide, a floaty and woohoo in that pool without error than that should be the largest pool cover.

    I hope they're able to do this at some point. I think it would be nice to have, especially in the cold months when my Simmies don't use the pool.

    May to solve the problem of unique pool shapes, the pool cover could automatically fit to form?

    That's not fun at all though. I'd rather it be mandatory, granted it doesn't get dirty within a day. More like in a week. And there could be a pool vacuum cleaner that sims can buy or a chlorine dispenser to keep the pool automatically cleaned.

    I'd like if pool water got dirty with use, like in Freeplay and sims had to clean it.

    the question is, most pools have a regular shape, which make the covering(and it's storage/rolled up version) rather simple) but in the sims we can make all kinds of pool shapes. Also would the covering be manual or automatic/would a sim be required to deploy it?
