Pool Slides

YES!! I've been hoping for the return of pool slides w/ every new pack since I started playing The Sims again and I'm always disappointed. At this point I'll even settle for a Pool Slide Kit so long as they give us this much variety. Summer would be the perfect time to add them...

Pools really need something new the last time they had anything added to them was Get Together and the patch that came with it with water colors and a hideous platform. Pool slides and a normal diving board would be so nice

They did get floats in the Island Living Prepatch to the base game.

Kits to build slides would be very cool. It would be nice if we could build a platform or landings that can have slides and let the landing be shared on a single tile with stairs and slides. It would be extra cool if we could have different styles of slides similar to how we have different styles of cabinets.

Waterfalls that can be interacted with would be cool too. There could be a piece sticking above-- maybe even a rock formation-- with water coming down that Sims could splash in. Perhaps the steps for the stairs could stretch over a portion of the pool and there could be a little cave underneath where Sims can swim.
A diving board would be nice.

I will add that stairs inside pools to get out would be nice. Even if they don't go all the way to the bottom. I wish I could get better satellite images of my old house, but I had a pool that was sort of shaped like a peanut that had stairs on the shallow end but on the opposite side in the deep end there was a sort of step that worked as a seat/standing area. We were able to get out of the pool without using pool ladders but we did have a diving board.

We had some sort of powered thing on a hose or something that would float on the surface and sweep up leaves and bugs. I spent a LOT of time in my pool as a kid. After my homework was done, I loved jumping in the pool and swimming around. Even just floating in the pool was relaxing.

It would be cool if we could build pools with a type of puzzle piece system similar to the foundations. One type of puzzle piece could be a sloped sort of "beach style" entry. One piece could have benches around the edge that sims could sit on. Another piece could have various options for waterfall features. Also, we should be able to have curved edges for pools. I don't know why we can't.
I agree that slides and waterfall features need to be a thing! Also, remember the pool nectar bars that we had in TS3?! Those were awesome! All in all, pools need some updating. Could be a great kit or stuff pack maybe.

Those are all great ideas! IIRC, Sims 3 had curved pools. I think the counters have a puzzle type layout as well. I have not played with foundations much so I have no clue. I kinda suck at doing foundations. LOL.

Agreed. I remember that hanging out in the pool was social for my family. My dad would have a non-alcoholic beverage. I would hang on his back. Mom would hold our hands and sort of spin in the water with us while changing "motorboat motorboat". I can't remember the full thing anymore but when she said "step on the gas" she'd spin much faster. We would toss soft inflatable balls to each other. It was fun. It would be great for a bbq event where Sims eat at nearby tables, play around in the pool, maybe relax in a hot tub, etc.

It would be neat if one of the options for pool trim had lights. So a line of light all around the perimeter of the pool in different colors could be part of the look.

Is it even possible to have CC pool edge/trim?
