Post-Apocalyptic Murkland: The Starter Challenge

I am just about to get rid of all the lots in Oasis springs, can I add the Murkland lots (what I find on the gallery and sims like now, or do I have to start with just one sim and the lot? Also can they paint, do handicraft and sell what they make? I will be playing other game saves too, but this sounds good, as I have done survival/teen runaway challenges in the past and enjoyed them :smile:
