Seasons needs more outdoor activities such as volleyball, playing catch with baseball/football, and soccer. Swimming pools need regular diving boards, floaties of various kinds, and water ball. They could have Marco Polo and Hold Breath Contest come back too! I would also find it interesting if they had lawnmowers that were opt in like laundry. Grass would only start growing on your lawn if a lawnmower was present on your lot. As for winter here's a snippet of my brainstorming:
-Playing in snow of course! 20 different snowmen to build and discover. Many are based on emotions so you can only see them if the sim building is in a specific emotion while building it!
-Snow angels!
-Snowball fights up to 5 sims
-New mean socials: Throw snowball into face, rub snow in face (Yellow snow will option too if it's on the lot somewhere! Ew!)
--New mischief social unlocked at level 4 called HIDE OBJECT...Anything in a sim's inventory can be hidden under deep snow. There will be a free patch that will include ability to set ownership of many objects in the game. It will be much like bed claiming. For example, if you set ownership of a computer only that owner will use that specific one. However, any sim will be able to ask permission or even use without permission which can lead to an array of scenarios such as angry sibling teens/children mad at other sibling for using their stuff! This menu can be disabled in GAME OPTIONS if you want to keep it how the game already had it. Anyway, you can hide someone's owned goods under the snow as a prank. Once the sim realizes that their specific object is missing they will react according to their traits. The sim doing the hiding will have "Confess to hiding stuff" to the sim that owned the specific thing. You can create some fun scenarious of mischief by hiding stuff in the snow! If an object is hidden under the snow more than 24 sim hours it will be in a giant block of ice once it's found again. If it's an electronic there is a big chance of it needing repaired or being completely ruined and unrepairable! This will be a fun new way for players to choose to start conflict amongst their sims!
--Build... menu--igloos, castles, houses, tent. Once these snowy structures are built they can function as a tent with all the same interactions.
--Male sims can pee in snow to make yellow snow. Once the yellow is in snow there is new options to do things with yellow snow. The unfortunate sims on receiving end will get strong uncomfortable moodlets and be really angry at whomever did it to them of course!
--SNOWBLOWERS! -- Once you buy a snowblower you put it into your inventory and use SNOWBLOWER... section to "blow snow randomly" "blow in straight line" "Make snow shapes" (hearts, circles, squares, plumbob, triangle), "blow into piles" (much like ability to rake leaf piles in fall. Once you have a snow pile you can play in it at any age!)
--Just like past games, outerwear will be required in the cold weather. There will be "weather tab" added by the sim's portrait that you can click to see very specific details such as temperature, chance of precip, dew point, EVERYTHING. Just like real life it will be very detailed and better than past sims games. In case of extreme weather you will get warnings about staying outside too long because there is possibility of being frozen to death!!
