Put food on the fork/spoon when a Sim eats off of it

Since even Minecraft can make it look like food is actually going into a character's mouth, I assume the Sims 4 devs can work the same "miracle" in our Sims 4 game? I feel terrible every time my Sims get "nothing" from their meals but cold metal.
