Putting Locks on Doors

I think that doors need locks. I built a tower for my skills. There is a room that I created for the Tech Guru Career within the tower. Whenever I have parties, it seems that room attracts almost all my guests. It is so annoying. I would rather have my guests hang out within the house or outside where the pool and bar are. Plus I really do not want other sims to be going into my skills rooms. I also believe that doors, rooms, should have the option to set it for a particular sim. I really liked that no other sim could enter the room.

In TS3 an arch worked like a door for bathroom privacy. I haven't tried this in TS4. Might be worth trying if you want that open feel. Like this:

Interesting. I've been doing it the first way, but I might try an arch to see what happens.
