Question about starting a new showcase thread

Okay, so I have a showcase thread but it's a mess and I haven't posted to it in at least a month (I'm thinking it's longer). I would like to just start over with a new thread that's cleaner and better laid out. Also, I cleaned up my builds and deleted some and I just want a nice clean start. However, I don't know if this is in bad taste or against the guidelines. (I read the guidelines and basically says don't spam) I don't know if this would be seen as spamming and such so I wanted opinions.
