Yu went over to Reed and Nadia's house a few days later, after hearing about the heartbreak he still could hardly process but no one was there, not Aubree, Dec or Hazel.
He waited, called and texted but nothing.
He went over to Tucker's and Rachel's, still nothing. They of course joined the search. Yu finally called Brandie who came home right away, leaving work things were more important then work sometimes!
Yu managed to tell her what he knew and they made a plan of action, they would ask on simsagram. and social bunny, If no one has heard anything they would have to get the police involved to put out missing persons alerts and reports.
Yu could not hold it in anymore and broke down.
Brandie was there to support him, Yu had always been a quiet, sweet, sincere guy, someone she needed after Brendon and her ex did not work out, Yu not only loved and accepted her, but her twins, if they were his own and they were his own now. Now it was her turn to be the shoulder of support and love.

Friends of Aubree's (She had so many) went out looking for her and Declan, they went to all their favorite places!
They searched for hours but could not find them anywhere!

"I looked everywhere I could not find them..." Beckett came out with a deep sigh before seeing his twin sister's pain. He understood, old still, healing wounds had ripped open, they tried not to get too close to the Adler's not to relive their pain of losing anyone else, but here they were.
"Milly..."
"If we do find them, what good are we? WE know this, lived it and yes its not the same for everyone but...." her voice cracked, "How do we even help? When it happened to us... I-"

"We will be good friends because we will know when to back off and still be there, we will try and help them as best we can and help the others understand or try too, all we can do is our best. Kay....?"
"Yeah.... it just never seems enough."
"I know, but its all we can do."

“Please…. this has to be a cruel trick, or a dream, I’m the one really in a coma or something? Please officer, please, tell me its not true, tell me lies, I’ll believe it.”
“My……..mom, dad can’t be…..”
“I’m sorry ma’am, we are working to get affairs in order, a service, will be held soon, please, try to take care and again so sorry for your losses.”

A daughters grief and agony.
The cruise ship Nadia and Reed were on crash and sank, there were not enough life boats...

Declan came to hold Aubree as she broke down even further. he just held her not knowing what to say only a few words.
"I'm here, I'm here, I promise, I swear."

Poor Hazel was of course really upset by the upset needing comfort too.

The pastor came to talk to the two of them about arrangements for he funeral. Of course, Yu, Brandie and Tucker, Rachel also helped with this.

Soon, the day arrived, so many gathered to celebrate the life and weep the death of Reed and Nadia Adler.

The pastor gave an amazing eulogy <3
They all ate and the funeral ending soon after.
It help some people come to terms but others it just opened their eyes to a reality that Reed and Nadia were gone.

Dec calls his elder brother over Tucker for some help. Tucker suggest that the two of them need to focus on themselves, to get themselves coping and moving forward so that they can properly help Hazel.
Tucker promised they’d take good care of Hazel in the meantime. They had a room all set up for her, after all. With a little more convincing they agreed, and Dec explained about a fun sleep over time with Trucker and his family and of course they’d come see her.
He invited over Beck and Amelia hoping Aubree would come out of the room but no.
Surprisingly Blake showed up, having been looking for their parents but maybe they passed on to the netherworld instead of staying in between like Blake did.

Though Aubs was still grieving, Dec knew getting her out would be the best bet. Gathering their friends up, they went to the little teen hang out to just chill.
Aubree seemed miserable, granted they knew why but they kept just trying to be normalize without downgrading her grieving.

This was Aubree first smile in days being with her little one.
Somewhere in this moment, it seemed Aubree began to heal.
For her daughter.

After spending time at their teen club, Aubree approached Dec and kissed him on the cheek.
“Thank you for continuing to convince me, this is really what I needed to help.”
Not quite a smile, but Declan felt accomplished anyways.

They celebrated with a little woohooing!
Well at least that proves they love is still going strong and they feel a bit better, coping, healing.

The last weekend of Summer, Aubree hosted a party, it was her thing after all, always having get together when younger, but this time, she pulled it together by herself. It turned out just fine!
It was at the local beach lot in Oasis Springs.

When they got home, so many warm compliments and cheers of a lovely day.
Aubree was truly touched and pleased, she had done it.
That simple realize brought more than pride, grief...sure she had done it, but without them.
Declan approached her embracing her, not knowing what was going in her head, but there for her.
Aubree clung to him just weeping into him softly.
"I know its different, I felt it too...I missed them too, but I think they'd be even more proud as everyone else, today."

"I know, I can hear dad cracking some dumb joke and mom smiling but still giving tips, like a mother hen she is." a watery chuckle and some more sniffles before she dried at her tears.
Aubree reversed the position pulling Declan close to her.
"You've been so supportive. I know your hurting too, please don't hide it from me, that will worry me more than sharing it, you can cry too."
Declan rested against the shoulder a few tears but grateful ones.
"I know this, trust me, Reed had told me this a million times, the value of a real man is not bottling things up and being tough."
Aubree could not help but chuckle and still ask in surprise.
"Dad giving lectures? Heh, that means he really loved you, to be all serious it took all his efforts, you know."

"Lucky me, I can appreciate it, Tucker is great, but we struggled, he struggled. I was his first go at being a big-brother-parent. I am not jaded Rod gets the better deal, your family was enough, they really helped me come into my own. I won't dwell on the couldda stuff and ha, I'll drink my teas when sick to honor your mom."
But his voice said so much more he would do than just that to honor them and all they gave.
"Importantly, I honor you and our lovely daughter, I'll do my best."
"We both will. we will show her the type of love to look for, we will try to give her even better or equal to her grandparents."
"Promised and sealed. I love you Aubree."
"I love you too."

This is the first time Nadia came out when Aubree was awake, but the girl did not notice and Nadia listened to her play for a bit then went away.

At the spice festival the kiosk person was selling money tree seeds among the spices. Curious, the couple purchased a handful of them to see if money could really grow from a tree? (My first time playing with the seeds, they sounded better being sold then coming from a points store xD)

Aubree has always been into music, piano, violin, guitar and keyboard have been mastered, singing almost. So, Aubree tried out DJing at the little teen club, she went there during the day, privately to get the feel of it. I think she likes!

Yu came up to hug Aubree.
They are cousins, since the death, they had not talked too much, dealing with their own grief, but family to the end!
These two love has kindled more deeper then ever, Aubree got invited to a concert in the city by a friend so she was saying goodbye.

After bit after Declan's birthday, Remembrance came around, a day to remember and honor the dead.
The two started off the day by going to the Remembrance Ceremony. (Hazel was a daycare).
he two then spent some time, honoring, mourning and remembering Blake, Nadia and Reed Adler, but more importantly thanking them for all that they did and assuring them, they would be alright.

"M---MOM!"
Aubree ran throwing her arms, somehow around her, she felt weird but no matter.
"M-mom! I thought.....I thought, you and dad! Is dad here?? But I thought, you had moved on...."
"B-but I am so so happy to see you! I love you so much and---"
Aubree voice got chocked up, she had rehearsed again and again , what she would say in this moment and now it just all did not come out right.

"Ssssh, It's okay baby, a mother always knows, its okay."
"We are so, so proud."
Nadia just pulled her daughter into another embrace.

Reed was just as joyed to see Aubree but did it in his casual dad, jokey way as usual. He made some type of 'don't flood this place up with tears joke, to get her laughing it worked, only Reed.

Of course, Reed had them all laughing but things had to switch to serious.
"We've not been comfortable passing over until." Nadia laughed a little, "we were sure you were okay."
"We knew you would be, so we hung around, wonder how your house stayed even cleaner? That was alllll us." Reed chimed in, winking playfully, "that will be 300 simoleons please."
More laughter came.
"But....but....wait... that means..."
Both of them look at each other.
Declan managed to speak first.
"You want us to release your souls today."
Both parents nodded.
"You two, are doing just fine, you'll continue to do better, I can trust in that now." Nadia spoke.
"You've got this, Hazel is a lucky girl, keep doing us proud the both of you." Reed assured.
The young couple looked at each other again feeling a strange sense of understanding, sadness and peace.
Of course before they went, Aubree had to play them a full concert. All her songs held the same tune, peaceful, remembrance, tinge of sadness, but the willingness keep going moving forward.

When the stars came out, they released both Nadia and Reed Adler's souls to beyond netherworld.

Emotionally and physically exhausted, the two curled up in their clothing on top of the bed and slept with only a few tears but more comfort and peace until the next morning.
