Holy crap! 6 days of work on that gen 2 house and it has REALLY turned out great. I’m super jealous lol. I *love* that living room space. So nice and bright and spaceous! The dining area is my second favorite. I love how you decorated it! Fawns bedroom looks so royal! The master bathroom is very luxurious too, very unique what you did with the sink. Woahh, I wish I had an office like that irl. You did such an amazing job! Both Silas and Fawn are very handsome sims! I’m excited that you picked Fawn as your heir, and looking forward to see more of the house with the family in it! I’m glad to see Fawn and Jonas have adjusted well. It’s a smart idea to have the house upgraded to eco right away! I might have to do the same for my next gen. Yessss a wedding is coming!

@Kiwicantdie Awww hooray for the twins! Poor Iris! I think she looks so cute next to the bassinets. She's just tired! :) Oh I never like to see Aiyden near a cow plant. OH NO! What??? Her cake making obsession has transferred to her new life? EA please make it stop!!! She's like a vampire Martha Stewart or something!!! She looks really cute though. I like how you dressed her :) Oh the twins are adorable I love them. It's nice to see that Lia is following family tradition and continuing to take in children. @Rhythrin Woot! Hooray for a long update! Luana is so pretty! She does look very childlike sometimes. I love little Aylene and her angry at mama face. Oh. Daddy's girl. Poor Luana! I'm glad she had a better second day with Mom. I really love how Luana's garden look. It's really pretty. Oh look at what a little cutie Kidra is. I love all the toddler pics but I'm especially in love with the stern look from Mom. Aww and Meepsy is still there! Rebuild Evergreen Harbor: Gen 2

Haven and Suri returned to Evergreen Harbor, but by the looks of their tans and their lovey-dovey attitudes, they definitely weren't ready to leave the beach behind...

Eden had news of her own to share -- she got her own place! This is my attempt at gen 2 floorplan B. I had planned to use this floorplan if I chose Eden as my heir, so I built it for her in Newcrest :smile: (Also please ignore the one wall tile I apparently forgot to paint :sweat_smile: )

Haven's new job had him working nights, so Suri was already in bed asleep by the time he got home. But she didn't seem to mind being woken up for some bump love and cuddles :blush:

Thankfully the nooboo came in the middle of the night, so Haven was home for the birth. He didn't even panic -- just pure excitement & happiness!

They had a boy! Everyone, meet Storm Greene. (I literally sat there for like an hour trying to decide what to name this kid, scouring baby name websites until something stood out :lol: It's super random and weird, but I like it.)

Suri was (rightfully) exhausted and went back to bed immediately, so Haven took the first shift of newborn care. He was basically a night owl at this point anyway, and he wanted to spend time with his son before he had to start going back to work.

Suri took the day shifts, which mostly involved knitting in the rocking chair and occasionally getting up to feed the hungry nooboo. All in all, it was a good system.

Haven's family leave ran out, so he started working from home just in case Suri needed help. He ended up being super productive and earned himself a promotion! In his free time (which he had way more of working from home), he started working on crafting a cybernetic mechsuit and helmet to prevent getting shocked as easily. Seriously, he gets shocked like every five minutes :expressionless:

The new parents got a few days of peace before family started showing up to bring gifts and meet the nooboo. Suri's dad was the first to arrive, and he brought Storm a helicopter toy.

Eden showed up shortly after. She'd already given them his gift early (the super cute knitted onesie), but she was super excited to meet the little guy!

Then, uh, Eden threw me a curveball..she started flirting with Suri!! I mean, good to know she's also into girls cause now I can find her a cute wife :lol: But putting the moves on your brother's wife is not cool, Eden! :angry:

Suri explained what happened when Haven got home that night. He wasn't too worried about it, he trusted Suri, and he knew Eden was still young & learning who she is. Plus, he couldn't really blame Eden...Suri was pretty amazing :wink:

They had more visitors the next day, Suri's sister (who now has two boys of her own!) came over in the morning. They got to chat on the new patio furniture and enjoy the beautiful summer weather.

And after dinner Aiyden and Iris stopped by to meet their first grandson. Iris hung out with Suri and cuddled with the baby the rest of the night.

I've decided fabrication will be the family skill, because I really like some of the fabricated furniture and eco-upgrades. Plus, it fits for Haven because he can fabricate handiness parts for his robotics projects :smile: Anyway, Aiyden taught him the basics -- how not to get sprayed in the face with dye, how not to get dragged in and drowned, etc. :lol:

Suri got lots of cuddles in before her baby grew up and possibly wouldn't be as cuddly anymore. Haven was full of mixed emotions, which reminded me a lot of Iris who was always sad when her kiddos aged up :lol: But they couldn't put it off forever...

Since Storm is so independent, I figured what better time for Suri to lose some baby weight and spend some time with her man. This became their typical routine -- both of them jamming out with their earbuds, Suri running on the treadmill (upgraded to generate power instead of using it -- love that!), and Haven working from home...

And Suri's a pretty good story-teller. She gets so animated and makes it exciting.

Then the bomb dropped. Suri woke up to a phone call from her sister saying their parents passed away. Their dad died from old age, which they all knew was coming, but difficult to hear nonetheless. Her mom's death was very sudden and unexpected though...she died in a tragic woohoo-heart-attack accident with her hot, young new husband :bawling:

To make matters worse, Suri began having awful stomach problems and kept running to the bathroom to vomit. She figured it was just her intense grief causing her upset stomach, but just in case...

A pregnancy test revealed the true cause -- they're having another nooboo! But not even that could cheer her up. The poor girl was just devastated :confused:

She found Haven downstairs cooking pancakes for breakfast (he's the best husband/dad ever, I swear), and told him everything. He consoled her to the best of his ability. "I'll take care of Storm until you feel better. Just eat some pancakes and rest, 'cause our littlest one needs you right now."

Haven explained to Storm why mommy was so sad and why Grandma and Grandpa Noor wouldn't be visiting anymore. He was so not ready for that talk, but it had to be done :confused:

Haven really did step up and take over the parenting. He started working from home even more often than when Storm was a baby, and he was abusing sleep potions to get his work done in the middle of the night while Suri and Storm slept :grimace: But he did it all with a smile on his face -- anything for his family.

Between the helicopter parenting and grief of losing his grandparents at such a young age, Storm wasn't the most skilled toddler. But he sure did have a loving family, and that's all that matters :heart:

As the birth of baby #2 drew closer, Haven and Suri decided they would ask Aiyden and Iris to move in with them. Iris could help Suri with the kids, and Aiyden could help Haven in the workshop. Not to mention, Aiyden & Iris were getting up there in age, and Haven wanted Storm to get to know them and spend as much time with them as possible before they passed. Thankfully, Aiyden and Iris agreed -- they thought it was a great idea!

They sold Haven's childhood home and used the money to finish the basement, where Aiyden & Iris would live, as well as a playroom for the kids upstairs. Suri was glad to have them around, and she and Storm were in much better moods in general.

Then the craziest day of their lives began...Suri went into labor in the middle of the playroom while playing dolls with Storm. He had no idea what was going on at first and thought it was another game :lol:

Once things settled down, Blaze was appropriately relocated to the nursery, and Aiyden & Iris went up to meet him. Iris: "That's one cute baby right there! Do you remember when we had cute babies like that?"

He did remember. He remembered everything, and it was perfect. (How amazing is that 'reminisce in rocking chair' feature?? The little 'memory' picture was literally so perfect!!)

And that's where I'll end this update, because at that point the household was an utter disaster, and I was too stressed to keep playing :sweat_smile: Next time we'll have lots of birthdays and unfortunately probably Aiyden's actual death, which I'm so not ready for :bawling: Also, I uploaded my community space lot(s) to the gallery, and I downloaded @Heckstress17 's Anavrin restaurant, so hopefully that will future in an update soon as well :smiley:

@Wentcrazy I have a real job too...I just sneak sims time into it sometimes, there's no judgment here :lol: The pic of the pile of laundry in front of the shower while they were woohooing is soooo Iris :lol: Love Day was their first (and only? :sweat_smile: ) proper date in my game too! I love Seasons cause it reminds me to make them actually go out and do stuff once in awhile :lol: Looks like they had a great time out on the town! Ickkkk dumpster woohoo is sooo gross but I love the animations :lol: Look at Iris making friends! Good for her. (She had like no friends in my game :lol: ) Nooboo #2! I knew that dumpster woohoo was a bad idea :wink: But I'm excited for more kids! I always like getting one of each gender too, because they look more different that way. It never fails that when I get all boys or all girls they look like they could be twins/triplets/etc :tongue:

@JordanNicoleJJ - omg you binged You so fast :lol: we would totally get along irl. Season 2 is really good, and I love that his new girl is the same actress from The Haunting of Hill House. That's my next Netflix recommendation lol. I plan to use the market version of your lot so that works out that it's the only version you play tested lol. I'm gonna download all the versions though, and just change them out according to what my sims seem to want. I'm excited to get it placed :smiley: The new house is so close to the community center and it's bothering me because the Greene's can see it out their windows and it's so plain. And yessss I really feel like Fawn hit the townie jackpot with Jonas. I think we could all use a gorgeous, handy, bad boy in our lives. I also love Fawn's boots. I purposefully got the boots in that last shot because I like them so much :lol:

On to your update! :heart: The blinds in your first pic look really good lol weird thing to notice, but I like it. Look at your floorplan A house! It looks awesome, and what a great idea to have your spare move into it. Eden deserves it! haha Haven's still scarred about that massage. He left a horrible yelp review I'm sure :lol: And look at Suri being such a great Aunt :heart: Haven was so chill during the birth. He's got this whole surfer boy vibe going on that I love. Welcome baby Storm. That's a really cool name. My game named their baby Reuben lol! I'll change it asap :lol: Cute nursery too btw! I love how involved your family is :heart: Eden bringing baby gifts is so sweet, but omg the flirting with Suri :lol: We'll just pretend that didn't happen. Those hot tub pics :love: especially the come hither finger from under the water lol. Haven's workshop looks so good! I wanna steal it in put it in my game! I love how Aiyden was giving his son pointers. Aiyden has such a soft spot for his boys :heart: It's so fitting that he's the one who saved Aiyden's life. Now hopefully he'll get to spend more time with his Grandson's. Storm's outfit tour is adorable. His little caped outfit is too cute. I do think he's all Suri, but that could change. You are having such bad luck with this save! First the smog saga, now the never ending fire. I would've been so mad, but you just have a way of taking pics and captioning them that makes it so funny. Even when bad things are happening in your game I'm still jealous of your gameplay. :lol: Iris' face holding Max. Then the firefighter gesturing to the fire like "it's right there! spray it dude!" and Aiyden just angrily staring on :joy: The firefighters working out, and then Aiyden having to put the firefighter out lol. At least you got that insurance payment? :grimace: Anyway, hooray for birthdays lol! The twins are so cute omg :love: I am totally downloading that freckle mod. They look so cute with Iris' freckles. Maddy is like a mini Aiyden, but obviously a much prettier version. Then Max is just precious. I haven't seen another Greene kid look quite like either of them. I'm really interested to see how they age up. Oh and Kirk! :lol: I almost forgot about him. But he's a cutie too. Aiyden's genes are strong. Oh Lia lol she's so sugar crazed. Maddy and Kirk standing at the end of the bed waking their Dad is unfortunately too relatable :grimace: It was good to see the family get out again. I can't believe Evie's flirting with Aiyden :open_mouth: Based on both her and Aiyden's facial expressions neither of them enjoyed the interaction much lol. @Wentcrazy - I'm happy with the genetic blend this generation :smile: I still love seeing the Greene kids in all their different variations in everyone else's games too. Aw! Look at how romantic Iris and Aiyden are with each other for love day :love: Of course it led to their shower activity :wink: Complete with Iris' clothes pile lol! They really seem to get along great in your game. It was great to see them enjoying themselves at the bar. Even sneaking off to the bathroom to flirt, then the dumpster :lol: They're getting the most out of love day for sure. No wonder baby #2 is on the way lol I hope they have a boy. Like you said, it'll be nice having one of each gender when it comes time to choose their potential mates. But Iris and Aiyden have made some beautiful girls, so you can't go wrong with a girl either. I'm excited to see what they get and what name you've chosen!

@debjameswhite - I was hoping you'd pop in soon. I'm glad you got a nice long morning with your coffee to read the updates. I'm so happy you like the new restaurant :smiley: I think they're my fav community lot to build just because I send my sims out to eat all the time lol. Oh and the flowered out self insult was just me saying I was an i*diot but the forum thought I was being too hard on myself apparently :lol: I really liked the look of that bathroom sink too, but it's not functional :bawling: Fawn kept going to the other bathroom to wash her hands so I had to replace it. My creativity is stifled lol. I'm totally in favor of bringing back the end of the generation genetics comparisons! You'll see some of Zach in my next update :wink:
