Recolours KIT - CAS and BB concept

Some days ago I had an idea for a new KIT because some swatches in the base game are... questionable. What do you think about the KIT concept without new meshes, but only with a new recolours for existing items in BB in CAS?

considering they're just recolours of current meshes, wouldn't it make more sense for them to just be BG?

Agreed. Why make us pay for simply a new color of something we already have?

I swear it was days ago when you expressed concerns of a possible floor pattern being a wall pattern for base game from Spa Day?

Either way, for JUST re-colors I find it to make more sense to just add updated colors to existing items. They had updated the doors awhile back (that had unmatching to just single swatched colors). $5 on just some recolors sounds like waste of a kit and a waste of my money, considering it's REAL easy to make your own re-colors.

I think it would be nice if they went back into old items and added more/better swatches in a patch, but definitely not paying extra for recolors

I agree that new colors should be patched into the base game, but I afraid that we slaves of 12 swatches or less per item and EA no longer care of items.

It hurts if you are a console player as me, because I can't just download "recolours".

@SimGuruFrost @SimGuruNinja @SimGuruRomeo I want to say that I'm really glad that you started to improve CAS, but BB mode needs some love too, especially for console and NoCC customers. Currently a lot of nice meshes are useless because of colour choice. Some time ago you asked Peacemaker and HeyHarrie for collaboration and it war revolutionary for a lot of us. Maybe it is time to make one more step and ask come CC creators to make a new color swatches?

I would really love this. There were many home decor that I love, just wish they had more color options.

If they tried charging for recolors, I'd get the popcorn ready. It's a step too far. Sims 3 has in game tools to change colors and patterns for bb and CAS (create a style) and while I know CASt isn't coming back, its exclusion was a major criticism when Sims 4 was first released.

I think they should add recolors, but they should be free.
