- GlacierSnowGhostSeasoned HotshotFor most of my saves I just take a lot of screenshots as I'm playing. I save them in their own individual folders for each save (not in the in-game screenshot folder) so each story's pictures are separate, and I give each picture a short caption. That's all I need or want for recording most of my sim's stories. It's fun to look back and reminisce, and it's also helpful if I forget what I was doing between sessions.
I only do the full writing a story thing for a couple of my sim-stories. The rest are all just in that simple picture and caption state. - Yeah I struggle with this too as of recent
I love my longer stories but I do find it gets rather intense at times when I notice how much I have to catch up with
best is obviously when I don't have to catch up and I can just play and then write the same day or day after but I do tend to get little behind whenever I scheme something bigger/ i have real life stuff going on
I do also love doing silly one shots so they can start and end with one post and therefore are not constantly on the back of my mind so thats one option
or then just post couple screens in screenshot threads with little captions
maybe have a story thread but its just little posts with little screenies with little captions more so reporting on what sims are up to and less so trying to do the whole storytelling thing hmm...
