Roofs and Fences

There's just a couple of things bugging me with this game that I'd love to see improved. Fences are built on boundary lines, yet in the game they have to be built inside the boundary line.

Also, when roofs have overhangs they are about 1/2 metre in length so I'd like it if this game the ones that go straight out can be made to go half-tile.
