Comments What a cute little Victorian style-dollhouse. It was a great idea to set it up on a platform, and you even added a little pathway to the edge of the platform as if it were a real house. The exterior is so detailed, right down to the outside lights, mailbox and flower boxes. I like the wishing well and outdoor table and chairs at the side. The deep purple wall color, dark wood, and furnishings all fit the Victorian theme perfectly. All the wooden ceilings are great. And there’s even a wooden chess set! Looks like it’s right out of the Victorian era, just with updated lighting. Excellent choice of kitchen clutter. Suggestions: Please, please include captions with your mages. From the screenshots, it looks like the bathroom and stairwell would be hard to reach for a child reaching into this dollhouse. It looks like one of the stairway windows is clipping into the wall, be careful of that.
Comments: What a clever idea to build the dollhouse as if it were inside grandma’s attic. Great choice of wallpaper on the interior, though more contrast would have been nice - maybe the same pattern but in a different color to denote the bedroom or nursery, for example. The bathroom fits under the eaves neatly. The nursery is so cute with the cloud and balloon decals and more clouds on the rug. The kitchen looks very nice and bright in blue and white.Suggestions: The attic “room” is so colorful and well decorated that it kind of detracts from the dollhouse. Disappointing because the dollhouse is supposed to be the star. Also since it’s taller than the door, it appears to have been built for giant children. Please remember to include captions with your slideshow. I would have liked to see more clutter and contrasting colors - a rug under the kitchen table and a plant on the bookshelf, perhaps.
Comments: I think Barbie and Ken would love this dream house. The exterior is not the traditional pink explosion, being mostly white with pink accents. Which is also well designed and eye-catching. You took the time to place light switches, that was an unexpected detail. You packed this dollhouse with a lot of fun things for your dolls to do - the lounge, the study/hobby room,, the patio with seating, hot tub and bar, the telscope. The entry hallway looks very spacious, Good idea to leave room for belongings. What a stylish little kitchen. Perfect choice of the cake artwork on the wall, it fits right in. I forgot there was a pink T.V.! Can’t think of a better place to use it than in a Barbie Dream House. Barbie’s suite looks so elegant and luxurious. Good thinking to leave the wall between the bedrooms and bathrooms open so they could be reached. Cute little second-floor balcony, it just needs a rug and a small table to feel complete. The phone in the lounge is indeed cute, and the chess table will be fun. The backyard looks great, a wonderful place for Barbie and friends to hang out. Suggestions: While the windows on the back overlooking the patio area are lovely, I think play would be easier if the back was open. The way you have it, if it was a sim-sized dollhouse, children would have to walk around to the side or back to reach the patio, or at least have the dollhouse up on a platform that could be rotated. You had so much left in your budget, I would have liked to see more from you. Perhaps some shade trees along the back or colorful flowers at the sides.
