ASSIGNMENT 2: RE-BRANDING

Okay, so you've made it through the application process. I was pleased to see most of you be very open and interesting to say the least. You've been at SH: Vampire Academy for a few weeks now and you've no doubt realized this isn't your typical school.

We don't have typical classes and each student is assigned a PR Specialist to help guide you into becoming the best vampire you can be. You have met with your Publicist and you've gotten to know him/her quite a bit over the first few weeks. I'm hearing some good and some not-so-good reports from your publicists.

While we may not have typical classes, we do have requirements that must be filled at some point throughout your journey here at SH: Vampire Academy. Your first task is up and ready for you to work on with your publicist.

You came to SH: VA a very intriguing, albeit difficult sort of vampire. Some of you have tarnished your image irreparably, but we like a challenge here at SH: VA. We want to prove to the world that every vampire is worth saving and every vampire can evolve. So, what do you need to do?

Work with your publicist to create a new & improved look for yourself. Re-brand yourself (that's a PR term) into a vampire that could be adored by other vampires. This will serve as your goal - you will see that you may not actually meet the new look, but you will be working towards it.

So there you have it, create a headshot/glamour shot of yourself in an all new and improved look.
Your story could be either telling us about your experience with your publicist or about your new look, or a combination of the two. Either way, we want to see some sort of growth from your models.
Don't forget to think about your end goal when creating a headshot.

We use a standard scoring rubric for this competition as well as comments/critiques.

Photo Quality: /10
Originality: /10
Requirements: /5
Total: /50

Story Creativity: You story should be interesting and intriguing. Wow us with some skills!
Photo Creativity: You should think outside the box and really put your imagination on full force!
Photo Quality: We want to see clean crisp images free of obvious editing errors.
Originality: Are you unique? Or does your photo look like the example and anyone else's work?
