What a fun idea, I love seeing all the beautiful creations from this community 🙂
I'll kick this thread off with my current work in progress, although this build still has a long way to go.
Would you show us what you've been working on as well? I'd love to see!

Creative Roomies
Created to home three creative roomies. Includes separate and shared living spaces. Separate living areas are geared toward 1) an artist who loves yellow 2) a writer who loves sea-toned blues 3) a fashion designer who loves grays.

Created for Build n' Share challenge #173

SpoilerThe artist studio contains all a painter would want, including snacks, coffee, and a designer's tablet to paint electronically, if desired.
The writer's office/studio features ocean/water blues throughout, as this is their stated favorite color theme. The walls are lined with bookshelves, and the computer is portable so they can also write on the go. The large slider overlooks their private deck and provides an airy, inspiring atmosphere...
The basement includes the separate living space for our fashion designer, who also enjoys fashion photography. This will provide a workspace to photograph models. The walk-in closet, makeup table, and full-length wall mirrors will be extremely helpful for the models during sessions. There is also a quality camera, photography studio, and seating area for models. There is also a nook with the designer's work desk, which includes a designer's tablet and work/wall board for their career needs.
Back yard 1: Back yard includes an all-season garden, a porch (covered) and patio (partially covered) with grill/table/plenty of seating; bird feeder/yoga mat/telescope and other items to enjoy.
The open floor plan of the common area, mainly on the first floor, but partially on all three floors includes a bar, living room, dancing/stereo area, a game table, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, exercise room, media room, indoor lap pool, and deck/porch areas.
- simsplayer8182 years agoHero@SheriGR Wow! That's stunning!
I really love the neutral colour palette and the creative roofing. The images are so clear it looks real. I don't recognise the artwork though with the black and gold, which pack are they from?
I just added an apartment block of my own to the gallery called Dockside Apartments. I placed it on the Old Salt House lot in the Spice Market in my game but I added an elevator and for some odd reason I couldn't see inside the building at all until I removed it. I knew the elevator wouldn't go up and down but it was just for authenticity so I was disappointed to take it out. Mine is for roomies too.

Knotty Pine Ranch
If you want the challenge of running a big ranch, this is the home for you! It includes accommodations for a full house, cat/dog, farm animals, 2 or more horses, and even an outbuilding to house a butler and roommates, if you so desire. Mix and match whatever combo fits your goals!

SpoilerA bit better overview of the layout of the lot. Clockwise the lot includes a horse barn with party loft, a pen for cow/llama and chickens (and the mini goats/sheep use both areas), a fishing/wading pond with bridge (at back home entrance), a 'guesthouse' (where my 3 roomies and butler sleep (includes small kitchen, bathroom, and living room), a treehouse, the main house, an all-season garden, a 'vender stall', a garage with work area and storage, and a large horse training fenced area.
Left side yard.
Right side yard.
Top view/layout of main floor of home. Includes a 4-seasons enclosed back porch and roomy porch at front door, living room with open balcony above, a music room/library, 2-sided fireplace and dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and 2 mud-rooms.
The second floor has an open balcony over the living room three bedrooms and a play area, a family bathroom and a master bath and balcony off the master bedroom. The basement has a family room, fourth bedroom, laundry room, bathroom, and a room for making 'nectar'.
- simsplayer8182 years agoHero@SheriGR It's awesome! You've made so much out of the lot size but it still looks spacious. Love it!

Walkout Duplex Rental (Note: I have updated the lot and link for use with the 'For Rent' pack)
This duplex can house 4 or more Sims on each side. Each side of the duplex has 3bed/2bath, 3 floors, and there is private space plus s shared sunroom and all-season garden on the roof. The basement walkout leads to a shared pool in the back yard. (Note that the lot loads to the basement level due to the walkout.). Picture credit♥ #juwels64 #FruitLoops40 #AlJay2000 #SimSationalToo

Spoiler
One of the duplex's living rooms…...open layout with the dining area. This leads to the kitchen.
Part of kitchen #1.
There is a partially separate and partially shared rooftop area that includes an all-season garden and 4-season sunroom.
Your Sims and dogs will enjoy the shared pool in the back yard.
Main floor layout (main living area for each side plus the master bedroom).
Basement layout… includes laundry, two bedrooms, family bath, and walkout to back yard/shared pool.
Note... I've also created a version that does not use a basement walkout, so it functions more traditionally. It's also prepped for rental use per the 'For Rent' pack: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/B887ECC451234B76829B0D3074B1F44A

@aleenakhan94 and @EA_Solaire , I can't truely show y'all my newest Sims without showing you all of their outfits. The problem is that I usually make at least 3 outfits for Everyday, Sleep, Hot Weather, and Cold Weather, per Sim! And really active Sims I usually have a few Athletic outfits , and party Sims I usually have a few Party outfits, and, well, you get the point! 🤣
So that is a lot of pictures ... do y'all really want all those pictures? 🤔
I recently have done the Frog scenario and the PlantSim scenario. I'm now working on the BFF scenario. And I also made a Sim just to test something, and then added some outfits recently.
@EA_Solaire that is a nice build!!!😍 I'm lousy at building! 😅
@aleenakhan94 , I love how friendly this thread and idea is! 🥰 - JonaO7033 years agoHero
Hello @aleenakhan94 ! Cool idea! <3
These aren't my "newest" creations. I've had them for a while. However, I did some recent updates for my newest save.
The Woodlock Family; left to right - Mathias, Magnus (Dad), Aurelia (Mom), and Laurelei. They're a family of elves and I thought it might be interesting to draw a parallel to the struggle of people who are "different" just trying to fit in and have successful lives. This is their home at Tail's End in Brindleton Bay.
My gallery name is the same as my username here on AHQ. :-) Thanks for starting this thread! I hope you and others share ideas and creations here.

This are my sages, they are sisters.
And this is my last build. A little Cafe for Henford.
- GiardiniDiMarzo3 years agoLegend@daikoyu Your sages are so cool!!! Are they triplets?
And the café is so cozy ♥- daikoyu3 years agoSeasoned Ace
Gameplay technic: no, there just random sage which the game created after I delete the original sages (of course black skin, blond hair and asia eyes!) They got a heavy makeover, and I gave them via cheat the sister state after I planned to use these NPC in my story.
- PugLove8883 years agoHero (Retired)
@daikoyu , your sisters are beautiful! I love the color coordination, as well as the little details that make them a bit different from one another (the red one's different necklace, the green one's little floral tattoo, and the purple one's non-Vampires pack hair -- just nice to have those little touches!) I especially love their butterfly makeup and their dresses (that is my favorite dress from the Vampire's GP!) 😍
- daikoyu3 years agoSeasoned Ace
I personally think that vanilla sims are beautiful and player which try to use vanilla setting for her simself are great! You get all the limitations from a game and still try it. I only don’t like the adults; I think they have to many wrinkles… so most of my sims are young adult which get wrinkles from facial detail.
Sure, CC is wonderful, and I used too (limited) but the most drama which goes on in sims4 comes from CC-Creator. Many paywall mods are too by CC-Creator. Sure, it helps that I have all DLC so I have enough choice, without really the need for CC, especially since the update which I can use things from both genders. (Thanks, sims4team! I loved this update)
I always love it to see vanilla sims without CC-Skin overlay. Sadly, default CC-Skin overlay doesn’t get tagged as CC, so if I used the gallery, I got sometime really specials sims…
@PugLove888 is my favourite dress from all clothing options. I don’t have it with modern clothing, I wish we would get a DLC with back to the past! A DLC without Phones and really old fashion cloathing and maybe horses (because it would fit)

Evergreen Harbor was finally on my list to change. I delete almost all premade townies and bulldozed the lots.
New Knox(Eco-Master) and her home: // She has a bunch of raccoons and foxes as pets.
New Bess and his new home:
Because I like the Tinker family, I gave the two lady a sterilization that hopeful stops the damn calling for a baby and connected Olive to both parents + I gave them two pets: August + Zilane
A adopt son named Cloude(Werewolf):
And a toddler namend Jeremy:
And of course a new Home
- cbarber891 year agoSeasoned Ace
My very very first proper abandoned home build, I don't have the vampire/werewolf pack for the holes in walls and scratches but I did a fairly good job, there's even missing wall pieces in the 2nd bathroom where a tree has gotten too overgrown

The heart shaped restaurant is called "The Casbah of Love" Just wanted to clarify that in case anyone wanted to search for it on the gallery.
This new one is my version of "Studio PBP".
There's a stage for the award presentation in the basement. The top floor is for parties and there's also a wedding venue for stars to get married here.
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@Busmover50 That looks fabulous!
- 3 years ago@simsplayer818 Thanks!

@Busmover50 , your studio looks great! A lot of hard work must have gone into it! 😅
- 3 years ago
@PugLove888 Thank you. I build most things in one day. I'm retired and a vet with PTSD. I find building in the Sims helps me focus on other things other than the stuff that stirs up my PTSD symptoms
The Sims is therapy for me.
- SheriGR3 years agoHero
@aleenakhan94 Okay... here goes. I haven't posted on this one yet. What a fun idea! This is my latest build: a church venue that can host indoor or outdoor weddings, has childcare and social accommodations, and can be used with a podium as well. Thanks for letting me share and join the fun here... I can't wait to look around at the posts!
Modern Wedding Church- 3 years ago@SheriGR Very cute build! Love the natural wood look.
- SheriGR3 years agoHero
@Busmover50Thank you for your kind words about my church build! ♥ Your lighthouse/island home is lovely... and I agree, that lot is a wonderful, gorgeous location!

I started to play GetToWork careers, so I renovated my workplace for my police officer. I changed the settings so that if my sim needs to admire the deco, or drink coffee with his friend his routing has shorter ways. Upstars are only the gym/showers and some place to sleep.
- SheriGR3 years agoHero
@daikoyu How cool! Great idea! Your 'Get To Work' career building looks fantastic! 🙌
- GiardiniDiMarzo3 years agoLegend
I shared my very first build for The Sims 4 in the Gallery! I wanted a Wedding Venue for Sulani. It's not mandatory to have MWS (I don't have it). I'm pretty satisfied, I used objects only from the Base Game and Island Living.

Hellooo
I've always felt like Newcrest needed a bit of sprucing up, so I've been building a town centre complete with coffee shop, dress shop, bakery, town hall and a church. It's still a WIP but I've been using a lot of CC and debug items which is quite new to me! I don't have much experience building exteriors so I've been testing my limits which is fun! Was largely inspired by European + British architecture (the combination of old and new).
Here are some pics! What do you think?
- PipMenace3 years agoHero
@Tia151I love the alleyway in the first shot!
My most recent project was to build workplaces for all careers that have "work from home" options - the idea being to basically turn these into fun active careers where you follow your Sim to work, with all the supplies to do any of the work from home tasks and build required skills.
First one I did was the Conservationist career. I turned Caldera Camp into a ranger station.
Next was an elementary school for the teacher career - two versions of that one, with and without a bunch of mods, but it was fun. I made a preschool room, a music room, a gym, a library, multiple classrooms and bathrooms, and in the basement an art room and cafeteria. I even figured out how to fake soccer nets out back - pretty proud of those.
I was working on a tech shared workspace (with storefront) for the programmer career when the HSY patch was released, and I had enough bugs at that point that I wasn't opening my serious saves or installing mods... and now as of today I can't even open the game to get screenshots for you, so making due with gallery shots. :-(

Anyone else build workplaces for more active careers?
- GiardiniDiMarzo3 years agoLegend
@PipMenaceI really like this idea!!!
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@Tia151 I love what you've done here. It actually reminds me of where I'm from we have a lot of similar architecture in our nearby Cathedral/University city. I've never thought to use this style in the Sims but it's given me loads of ideas.
It looks stunning.

This modern, artsy high school aims to nurture student creativity and achievement - in the classroom and out of class. On this campus your students & community will find resources to develop skills, nurture creativity, plus learn & achieve to their hearts content.
Screenshots:Spoiler
Main floor layout... open foyer to principal's office, classrooms, research/computer library, stairways, cafeteria, faculty kitchen/break room/private bathroom, a chess room, painting room, band room, lockers, bathrooms, and seating areas... and the secondary school mascot... Rocky the Cowplant.
The basement features a pool with diving and locker rooms, a workout room, basketball, a cheerleading mat, a conference/speech/debate room that opens to a 'sick room', and a crafting room with a robotics station, fabrication station, recycling station, and two workbenches for developing skills or community use.
Top floor is open to the main foyer, plus includes an observatory, aquarium, large microscope with science room, 'aliens/space-lover' area that exits to the roof...
... and on the roof you can have individual or group yoga, use more telescopes, summon aliens, or learn/practice gardening.
The computer/research/skills library comes initially with many skills books on the floor. If you direct your sims to put the books away (keep at it with several sims - they won't want to do it for long on their own accord), they will eventually get all of the skills books shelved. After that, the books will be available from any bookshelf on the lot for any community Sim to use. Yay... & enjoy!!!
The back of the building has an outdoor porch/deck with chess, tables, seating, & bike racks.- GiardiniDiMarzo3 years agoLegend@SheriGR This school is impressive! Wow just wow!

@GiardiniDiMarzo Thank you so much!! I had fun with it, and enjoyed giving the new round rooms ins-and-outs a shot. 😉
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@SheriGR Awesome! Definitely my kind of build.
