Hope you're all having an amazing afternoon! Just stopping by with pictures of Salim Benali's old apartment that I'm renovating once again. This time it's for the latest single teen to join my rotation. You'll officially meet her later but her name is Lucy Perkins, she has the frugal trait so am trying to decorate with the cheaper items and not go too heavy on the extra decor since she'll be using items that she finds at the flea market or dumpster diving when I find time to take her to Evergreen Harbor. She'll also use any collectibles that she finds. Here are the pictures of her open entry/kitchen/living area.
Although Lucy is not fussy when it comes to decor styles except for her dislike of Suburban Contempory, based on the 'cheaper items' that I used there are items from the Shabby, Basics, Queen Anne, Patio (flooring), MId Century and Farmhouse categories. In some of her favorite colors of blue & black with touches of orange.
Bellacorde Castle is continuing to look lovely! 🙂The design of the stables looks great with the row of stalls. The set up of the horse training area is very nice. The greenhouse is lovely! The patterned green glass windows are very nice and looks great how you have laid out the areas with the plants and trees. The upper level with pretty patterned table and chairs is lovely to enjoy a tea party with the sunlight coming in and seeing the plants on the room edges❤️I hope the furnishing of the interior goes well! 🙂
Back to the Bellacorde castle today!! Today I finished the two side buildings, the stable and the greenhouse. This means ALL of my exterior areas are done! But now... the interior... I'm excited but it's so big!😥
They are all lovely sims ❤️ I hope that your continued work on them goes well. It is enjoyable and fun spending time in CAS working on our sims and choosing their outfits 🙂
Whew! Where do I begin? When I have WIP Sims, not only do I have a bundle of Sims to contend with, but I also have multiples of the same Sim (as I am saving my progress for each minor tweak). My Library is filled to the brim with WIPs at times.
Here are a few WIP Sims that I have yet to finish:
The hobby room is lovely 🙂The green, yellow and grey colours are very nice, and pretty patterned wall tiling. The curtains are very nice, and the flowers are lovely either sides of the seating. He will enjoy painting, reading, improving his fitness skill and doing archaeology there. The furnishing is lovely.
Hope you've all had a good week and a Super Saturday and get to enjoy a piece of pie on this Pi Day. Here in Atlantic Canada we're in the midst of our usual battle between Spring & Winter. Today, winter seems to be winning with snowy day but rain is coming on Monday & Tuesday.
Just stopping by with some pictures of the Jungle Hobby room that I decorated yesterday during the first part of my visit with Isaias Cannon. It's called Jungle Queen Hobby Room in my gallery and it's the room to the right of the entry on Isaias' main floor. The room uses the Queen Anne, Art Deco and Shabby as the jungle floor is considered part of that category. The jungle relic table gives the room a touch of Vintage. Used some generic items such as the jungle wall decor and display shelves.
The room uses green and gray with touches of yellow.
It took some trial and error in choosing the wall coverings. Realized when taking this picture that I forgot to change the wall covering on the half wall around the staircase but decided to leave it since it looks alright with the bookshelf in front of it.
That's all for now and hope to finish my visit with Isaias today and have his main update later.
SilverJanSims I love the colors you used! I'm always a sucker for that pastel green and pink combo.
If I may offer a tip, to avoid the columns fading out for screenshots, set your camera up far enough away to see the columns, then switch to the free-cam in the camera options! That'll let you zoom in without the columns or any plants you want to see disappearing :D this is how I always take my build screenshots!
Their back patio is lovely 🙂It is nice that there is a flower arrangement table there for them to enjoy doing flower arranging. The vases of flowers look pretty either sides of the table and the wall art is very nice. They will also enjoy doing painting there.
Here are a picture of little back patio of Arielle & Juliette Vernick's home in Tartosa where I decided to put the floral table so that one or both of them can get into making bouquets if they so desire with the additional flowers Arielle has been able to plant after attending the Romance Festival during my visit with them. Some of the patio columns have been faded out due to zooming in for the photo.
