I was inspired by the "show me your Newcrest" post, and thought it would be fun if we showed each other all our worlds and what we've done with them. All worlds in one post, however, would be way too big and hard to keep track of, so lets start with one of the base game ones.
So show me what you've done with Oasis Springs!
How many community lots do you have? What kind are they? Do you have any cool builds that you're really proud of? l'll post mine in the first comment. I look forward to seeing what everyone has done with the place.

Sort of. Mexican but a little more upscale than Taco Bell. I downloaded it from the Gallery because there's a similarly named restaurant near me. Banditos Tacos and Tequila.

I really like these threads too, it is interesting to see how similar or different people make their worlds to your own.
Being somewhat OCD I am always amazed at people who can manage to carry on and play with only a partially filled world. I really couldn't do that, it would totally freak me out ?

Yeah I was thinking of maybe doing like bigger arrangement of them for the park lot or the landgraab lot for like little world of my own in there but I feel like i need to get more familiar with them first before starting such huge project
I'm not a builder, but I do raze everything down to the ground and download every single lot. I don't have a single premade lot left in any of my worlds. The exceptions to the "none of my own builds" rule are actually a smattering of lots in Oasis Springs and Strangerville, mostly because I lived in Albuquerque for about 6 years and am fond of desert architecture.
Here is my Oasis Springs, starting with the poor neighborhood:
The big lot is my reconstruction of my student housing in Albuquerque, down to the ping pong table in the covered porch. There is also a bar, a boho rental and a car repair shop (both built by talented simmers), as well as a nice starter home I based on a real listing in Albuquerque.
The middle class neighborhood consists entirely of lots by The Simline, from his "that 70's save" series. It reminds me a lot of suburban Albuquerque. I'm especially fond of the pool.
The commercial district consists entirely of lots by Silrosse. Most of them are from her "Maristella" save but only one of them is placed where it was designed to. The coffeeshop on the far left was built by her for Strangerville and edited heavily by me.

I'd love to show mine but it's still a WIP. Working on Willow Creek right now.
I don’t play or build in Oasis Springs often at all, but I built something in place of the park once. It’s a Sims version of Burning Man I called Flaming Gnome. So, it’s meant for simulating a festival.
