Show off your Sims' lore/backstories!
As the title suggests, here's where you'll share your Sim or Sims' lore and backstories throughout the games! I'll start first!
I don't have a Sims 1, Sims 3 and Sims 4 photoshoot of my household, so have this Sims 2 one instead.

The Sims 3
The Christmas family is quite a unique one. Let’s get started on with their backstory… so, once upon a time, in The Sims 3, in Sunset Valley, there has been a generation of a Christmas-y family. One tradition was to give them Christmas themed names and decorate their house to give a holiday-like vibe. Another thing worth mentioning was the house they live in has been passed on from generations to generations, but renovated over and over again. It resembles a gingerbread house and they also have fake snow on their lot. Money is also something which was passed on. So, basically, the theme of this family has always been wealthiness, Christmas and winter.
Wait, but, you might be asking how they got rich, hm? Well, in the Sim universe, they’re selling Christmas-like decorations and managed to become the biggest factory of producing ornaments and trinkets. Many Sims’ go-to was this legacy’s business. It’s called “Christmas is All Year Round!
…uh oh. Once December Christmas’s parents have died, the company shut down as well. It has been as a result of a running out of decorations and ornaments, as well as a lack of clients.
This generation’s Christmas Family is eccentric and known to be very childish. They're doing a lot of mischievous things such as putting a sign on a teacher's back saying "Kick Me" or even tampering with board games. Another noteworthy thing about them is how united they are as a family -- are often seen to do Karaoke together, talking to each other, visiting places and standing next to the fire in a cozy place. Moreover, they're outstandingly rich due to past generations and they don't like wasting their money - they're hoarding it. And also, the parents don't have jobs either. They believe they can live off their money. The family doesn't brag about it and would rather keep it a secret from others.
Will this lifestyle be a success for them or will they need to work just like other Sims to be able to live healthy lives? Will they try to make their business run again, sell their items through retailers or have different careers altogether? Or stay at home and do nothing? There are SO MANY questions!
Between The Sims 3 and The Sims 2 (The Sims 1)
For a short time, they had been experimenting with Chemistry, because they wanted to do something together as a family and that caused A LOT of burns and pain, ultimately leading them to getting hospitalized for a month. After they got out of there, they went to ask for help this time and had difficulty in finding a chemist, so they had to move to Pleasantview in hopes of finding a chemist Sim and have been successful. During their travel, they had been eating what the Mother Nature gave them (animals for example) and been telling ghost stories to each other. Another thing – eating fried marshmallows while setting a fire camp. They finally got in Pleasantview after a few months of travelling by car and talked to the chemist. It took them a year to become experts in the subject which allowed them to make the “Live Longer” and “Don’t Age” Potions. Why would they do such a thing? Well, they enjoy living and believe if you live longer you have much more things to do and not get bored so quickly. This family desires to achieve it’s aspirations while they’re alive. Then, they start drinking them.
The effects of the potions are pretty obvious. Living longer and not aging. Just because they won’t age doesn’t mean they get to live forever. Sooner or later, they’ll wear off and be normal Sims again.
Through The Sims 1, nothing special happened to them other than what was mentioned above. They’ve lived their life by living in the outdoors and having tents. Yes, they were saving as much money as they possibly could.
The Sims 2
50 years later after leaving Sunset Valley, yeah, they decided to live here, so they do need to take everything from zero – such as building their house.
Now that this game has Open For Business, they’re able to run a business. Have they given up on their dream or is it still there? Now with the ability to live longer, what will they do? Are they going to take advantage of this opportunity or say “screw it”? How will they adapt back to society after living such a long time in the outdoors? Only time will tell!!!
