Sim Selves

~ I could care less how I look in RL, but my very plain Simself has always been consistently the same since I could make her in Sims 2, so she has never aged,just stayed her plain Jane self,now recently on the Gallery has been an age Simself challenge going around so I give you my Teenself (the cloths may give my age away) my constant Simself throughout the Sims games & my future self!(GOD forbid!)

Mine does not look as much like me as I would like...I was kind of in a rush to play the game when i got it. And, I'm not an artist.

Not yet. I still need to work on her before I put myself out there for the masses XD.

I made my simself a teenager so I could play her growing up. I think I would need to edit her again as somehow I wasn't very pleased how she turned out. Maybe it will be easier once she's YA and I don't have to look into past.

So what does your Sim Self look like and how close is it to the real thing? Mine kind of is, I just have yet to dye my hair back to black in real life yet.

I know you all have fun playing with your simselves. But "simself" days are over for me. I played them in the Sims 2 and the sims 3. Now I prefer different characters and famous people instead.

Is playing your simself totally out these days? I kind of get that feeling when almost everyone says they don't play their simself. I remember I made my first simself (actually our whole family) in TS1, I don't think I had simself in TS2, but it's now in TS4 that I'm getting excited about playing my simself. She lives in my second save that I created specifically for her. While I consider my rotational save my main save, I find it very relaxing to play my simself. Who wouldn't want a whole world to play in?

I don't think it's weird for other people to do it, but personally I find it weird playing through a sim life as "myself". Just creeps me out. Maybe if I played it without relationships and what not, but to me I enjoy the family aspect of the sims the most. Like, I know there are other things I can do that have nothing to do with family or romantic relationships, but I just prefer to leave my simself up to her own devices then every once in awhile check on her and see what she's gotten herself into.

I have myself and my four friends as sims in one house. It's fun to me. I love to see them when I can go "THAT IS SO YOU!" or see what chaos and trouble they can get into. So far they ruined their grill, broke the stove, and are living off the microwave because they're too poor to replace the stove right now lol. It's still very entertaining for me.
