ENTRY DETAILS: I chose Kesse Kogo to design a house for. I was inspired by a modern design on a Kenyan home builder's website. Since Kesse is a scientist, I filled the house with plants, gems, insects and other natural collectables. For the color scheme, I used black (his favorite color), pops of red and green (black, red and green are on the flag of Kenya), and bold patterns.

ENTRY DETAILS: Renowned violinist Ya Yuèzhèng was looking for a house that allows him to practice his craft. I created a combination of mid-century architecture with hues of yellow and red to reflect his country of birth. The house features a music room in the basement with sunken gardens, and there is a place where family members can offer respect to their ancestors.

ENTRY DETAILS: Designed for Aussie Chloe Foster (Art Lover, Lover of the Outdoors and Active) inspired by an Australian Beach Home floorplan. This three bedroom, 3 bathroom home has everything an active, aspiring painter needs, an art studio, a swimming pool, lots of outdoor spaces, including an alfresco dining area and several balconies.
(Note to judges: Not all the artwork has been included in the final upload, as Chloe is a level 10 painter and a number of her works were masterpieces that inflated the cost of the home by quite a margin. I understand if this disqualifies my entry, but wanted to make you aware.)

Adonis is a modern villa with contemporary landscaping and a rear garden comprising bbq patio, pool and bin storage. Interior décor is a blue scheme and covers three floors. Spacious gym at the very top with adjoining bar area and door leading to the roof terrace designed for yoga.

ENTRY DETAILS: 801 Coastal Drive is built on the Dock Den lot in Windenburg. Having beautiful 360 degree views, it is the ideal location for a painter's retreat. With touches of green through out Chloe feels right at home. The water and the isolation reminds her of her home in Australia.

ENTRY DETAILS: This home was commissioned by Xenia Caixeta: Argentinan, entrepreneur, lover of red. In reds, blacks and whites this home combines clean, modern lines with organic curves and a touch of Asia. The large open-concept first floor includes a stunning entry, state-of-the-art eat-in kitchen, large living room with fireplace, powder room, formal dining and large office. Upstairs, the spacious master suite includes a large bedroom and bath with dual sinks, enclosed toilet and a spa tub, plus a private balcony. There are two guest bedrooms/hobby rooms, currently furnished as a guest bed and a meditation/relaxation room. These share a bath, again with dual sinks and enclosed toilet. Also upstairs is a gym, or a fourth bedroom as needed. Perhaps the most amazing feature of this home is the view from the nearly wall-to-wall windows. Outside is a beautiful pool and entertainment area, plus two gardens perfect for sitting and unwinding after a hard but rewarding day at the shop.
